It was on at 1:05am here on the east coast USA, but I did take a mini nap and I woke up in time to watch it. It was fairly uneventful, Ferrari disappointed, Honda powered cars looked good. Kyvat had a good return and my fantasy team did INCREDIBLY well(I had Bottas and everyone else was in points)....Just happy it's back after a long winter. Oh, and if you are a fan, the Drive to Survive series on Netflix is pretty good, thats actually what I'm doing now ) But back on topic. THIS SERVER ISSUE SUCKS! But loading the game up, it appears the RDO is currently offline, please try again later. So I load GTAO...… then it gets worse, unable to connect to Rockstar services. So I grab me phone and launch ifruit, could not log into Social Club. This has suddenly become serious...… the entire Rockstar Games network is down. Doesn't matter how much they try to skew matchmaking and make people play that mode, it'll always be a ghost town. Don't they have a test environment? Still not tried RDR O yet as I got a free months live access with the new One X and I'm saving it until they get Online out of Beta before firing it up. Feels more and more like the right choice. P155ed off if what I'm hearing is true, the patch I've just agreed to download DOWNGRADES SP graphics. Are they trying to annoy their loyal fans? T2 is trying to turn players into payers. T2 did a better job with GTAO. With GTAO it was more gradual. The beach bum dlc was free. The Arena Wars was an outright cash grab. With RDR2 online, mtx are rubbed in our faces from the get go. To make matters worse, RDR2 online becomes increasingly unplayable. The "features" that everybody is complaining about remain unresolved. If the players were happy with RDR2, they more willing to spend on mtx. Rockstar's famous logic is the opposite. This game gives me the opportunity to do thing I cant do right now. I'm deathly allergic to horses, so that's out. I can hunt and fish with my buddies even though its snowing outside. The fact we, the players, have a better vision for the game than the developers do is a lesson these developers need to take into account. I've seen phenomenal ideas from people all over this forum, yet we get another PVP mode and nerfed graphics. Another thing, WHERE THE f*ck IS ROCKSTAR!!!! You asshats need to address the sh*tstorm you're unleashing. Calm the masses, come up with a plan, and do what you know needs to be done. There has been a line drawn in the sand, I wouldn't cross it if I were you. I bet 2 chimps in zebra suits know you don't add anti-griefing measures only to promote griefing with daily challenges.
