That's it. Most companies usually say they're working hard on fixing the issue but nope, R* is investigating it. They will not address the issue of private sessions even though a great many people have requested this. What is the deal with Rockstar? Are they really that stupid or do they have a reason for pissing off so many of their customers? So, when R* are admittedly having problems across the board, I can still be in a session? And yet, when they don't have any server issues at all, we get disconnected randomly for no reason? Can someone explain this to me? And can someone explain why they release a patch on a Monday (which they never do) to adress problems with Showdown matchmaking?! Which no one is even very interested in!!? And was there even any trouble with matchmaking on Showdown series? Is this the real life? Come on this game is a masterpiece, i cant tell how many games that i have tried or bought, but ended up stopped playing it long time before it’s done because how bad it is. Just tested out the storyline and i cant see the difference, but i can see the storyline do have better grapics vs online. How often do we get opportunity to buy a masterpiece game? They removed an unnoticeable lighting effect from SP, which many are thinking its for stability issues. No need to go demanding a refund for it. It changes/downgrades the realistic lighting quite a bit. though certain objects in the environment have less detail than they did before the patch. Some may have trouble noticing a difference, but it’s understandable why those that do are bothered by the downgrade, as it can become very distracting. Turning off AO objectively falls into the category of downgrade, not improvement, there's nothing subjective about it, it's baffling that Rockstar would do this to singleplayer. Dr.Rosenthal Posted March 18, 2019 Share Posted March 18, 2019 (edited) Maybe I'm just in an overly bitching mood and maybe it's because of the fact that the servers are down, but I can't get over how incredibly strange it is of them to release a patch that fixes Showdown Series matchmaking of all things, on a Monday. It literally screams "This is a priority for us!". Well, it shouldn't be. There are a thousand other things in this game that should be the priority. I'm sure the "issues" with Showdown matchmaking could have waited. Has anyone even experienced any issues with the matchmaking? Matches always seem well-stocked with participants. Since they don't give us an option to choose which gamemode we want to play, we're sort of forced to swallow what the game throws at us. Now fix the goddamn Stranger Missions, or the despawning carcasses. But I almost feel bad for mentioning that at this point. Of course they won't f*cking fix that. They'll probably make it so that Special Spinners can be lost, carcasses put on the back of horses will decompose in 3 in-game hours, and something more stupid, like not giving us hats when our hats have been shot off and we change posse outfit. And then they'll package that in a title update together with a new PvP game mode: Horse Jousting! Yaaay!! Everyone's soo happy now.
