Boring Franklin of course. Michael is a solid character and Trevor is a great character. Franklin is barely a character.

This excuse of a game's excuse of a storyline is powered by Michael. He met Franklin just because his son bought a car without any permission or even any knowledge, hinting Michael's great parenting skills. Michael knocked down a house, making him repay the damages through a heist, where he ended up catching Trevor's attention. It's also Michael who betrayed Trevor with the FIB in the first place. If you choose either one of the two non-real endings of the game, Michael will kill Trevor or commit suicide.

I liked them all. Very unique to have 3 characters and they are all also unique in their own way. Made for a great playing experience and was a nice change of pace from the typical gta protag options. The only thing I disliked is that all three would change their clothes on their own. I'd spend time clothing them, switch for a mission, then they'd all show up in different clothes... wtf! damn you! Other than that, I don't have a least favorite. I thought it was fun to be all three and each one had their advantages and disadvantages, plus it made the story that much more interesting. I enjoyed sharing preparations for heists amongst them and things of that nature.

Franklin's boring, but atleast he isn't an overbearing and annoying manchild like Trisha.

 

I can give Franklin a free pass since he becomes null and void halfway through the game. Trisha is still shoved in our faces until the very end.

None of them tbh. I found them all funny and somewhat interesting.

franklin. as most people said he is underused and does not have as big of a role. or even much backstory. the story is mostly about michael and trevor and their past. they could have had franklin as a regular character and non protagonist and i doubt it would have hurt the story. in fact they could have given us more missions with trevor and his business in sandy shores. and more missions with michael and his family. that would have been nice to have especially since the story was too short even with franklin. but even though franklin is my least favorite protag. i dont think he was a terrible character. he had some good moments in the story. and there were times when i enjoyed playing as him. i also really like some of the characters he has in his story. especially lamar one of my favorite characters in the game. they are so funny together. i also like both his safehouses. its a shame we cant go back to his first one when he gets the mansion. so overall i think franklin is a decent character. not the best protagonist. he deserved more development and story. it would have been nice to have that story dlc and we could have seen more of him. and while im sure we will never get a singleplayer dlc for gta 5. its still possible that we could see franklin again. because out of the three protagonists franklin is the only one to survive no matter what. so its very possible to see him in the next gta. of course i dont know how exactly. last we saw him he was rich living in vinewood hills. but im sure if they wanted to rockstar could add him in somehow. even if it was a minor appearance i would be happy. i just hope they wouldent give him the johnny k treatment.

I thought it was interesting when first announced this retired criminal spurred back into the game by boredom, a declining economy and his families excessive spending.

Franklin no doubt, such a boring ass character only there for SA nostalgia. He didn't really do anything interesting after the first part.

 

Trevor was often too cartoony and hard to take seriously but still entertaining for the most part.

Michael is by far the best GTA V protagonist, he has more depth than the rest & was refreshing. The game basically revolves around him anyway

Actually rich by being founded by the FIB. Don't get we wrong, I don't hate Michael, but he is my least favorite character. I like Franklin most for the reason many do no like him, he has little own identity so I can rather identify myself with him rather than Michael or Trevor.

I like the three of them but if I had to choose one ... maybe Franklin even though he's interactions with Lamar where pure gold imo.

I think he was supposed to be like that. He's the one you're supposed to kind of feel like is stuck in the middle of something. I think it was intentional so that you could be the one relating, rather than relating between the three.
