Random Sync Errors

I've been getting these errors going on a week now and it randomly happens when the game goes to save progress. I have lost several Client and VIP job payouts along with a recent nightclub warehouse sale.

 

Also fails to load character files at startup, but if you immediately try again, it works.

 

Have checked internet performance... hardwired,  not wireless... no issues.

 

Verified games files this morning... no problem there.

 

Another friend has been having similar trouble as well as a couple players reporting in other threads.

 

It's getting old and I'm at a loss... is this a RS server thing?... any other ideas?

Well Rockstar's servers love to act up sometimes. Judging by other reports, the problem may not be on your side.

Been happening to me for the last week, too. I assume the Social Club is just not doing well.

I wasn't paid for a full 15 minute rooftop rumble and a clubhouse contract jailbreak this week.  This happens when I get this sync error as a mission finishes.  I could hear Martin in the cutscene as the message was on my screen.  It's all about rp on my 2nd character now but it's no fun getting screwed out of money, no matter the amount.  Odd I get the rp but not the money.  This is week 2 for these error messages on pc.

Same here, everything is great except sometimes i get saving failed for 10 mins and then successful save and sometimes the i/e cars just got blown up during the sourcing smh, dear R* this is why i do glitches now instead of grinding

I've been having a lot of odd disconnections lately on Xbox. The game kinda jumps and lags then boots me.  I've lost on various payouts because of this. It makes me laugh how Rockstar clamps down so hard and quickly on people finding ways around making money easily, yet due to their own terrible hardware and software constantly screw us out of money.

 

And when I say us making money easily I'm not talking about glitches, but simple things like using the Bombushka to transport Post Op vans or being able to use the Cargo Bob to lift delivery vehicles.

 

But you know, as long as Rockstar can sneakily deny us other ways to make money by having completely unstable connections, then that's ok...

It's been going on a lot more than usual on PC as well since the latest 'update'.
