I have literally not bought an article of clothing, and probably never will at this point. Edit, I bought the bandana. I have the ultimate editions outfits and those are bugged and I cannot save them....I wonder why. I mean $2 real world for an in game hat.....simply bogus. Oh yeah, its in 4-5 different colors, so $10 for one type of hat. Riiiiiiight? It like R* just thinks they can skip the growth period of an online game and go straight to bending over players and they will stick around cause RED DEAD! I dont think this game can handle anymore of this crap, its literally a slap in the face to people that had "faith." Online is toast as far as I am concerned, I will enjoy it, but I just cant see most people putting up with this garbage. Anyone here that have recieved them yet? Maby it take some time to get them.. Fatsanchez Posted March 13, 2019 Share Posted March 13, 2019 I was so annoyed at the lack of fixes and basic features that I’ve been spending my last couple weeks battling with R* support to try to get at least some compensation over the fact I’ve purchased the Ultimate Version yet can’t access individual pieces of clothes of the bonus outfits in my wardrobe (not even wear them actually cause the game keeps removing them as if I didnt own them). Well today they finally replied with somewhat good news. They awarded me 300 dollars, which I used up to buy some of those new and timed clothes. Bought a winter shotgun coat, a fancy vest and pants. Spent almost 450 dollars. Also the winter shotgun coat (the black leather one) doesn’t even work for cold weather properly. Makes my outfit usable for “average” at best. Well played R*. Also F U. For someone impatient like me who likes to rush aggressively and rely on reflexes, it suits me better than Gun Rush, and I much prefer to-die-and-instantly-respawn rather than "die once and wait while watching people camping". I liked the co-op dynamics of the matches a lot more as well. It's something to have a laugh with during the weekends while having a couple of beers. But still I'm seriously craving some immersive free mode gameplay for the rest of my playtime. Although I am getting tired of being pitted against others and want more PvE. Survival would be nice. Apparently there was Animal survival in the first game? Very frustrating You can look up the level of protection on the Social Club catalogue. It's an annoying extra step, the information should be in game, but R* logic. The leather Winter Shotgun Coats offer the standard Slightly Warm protection, the ones with what looks like wool lining offer Reasonably Warm protection and the 2 with what looks like fur lining offer Warm level protection. The Sheeps Wool Coats are Warm, the Bison Duster is the only, I think, Very Warm item. Try using your leather Winter Shotgun Coat with any gloves (all slightly warm), a vest that is slightly warm (sheep skin, the 2 fur opulent vests, Rutledge vests), Millard Boots (slightly warm), Pelt half chaps once they are released (slightly warm), Wool Shirts (slightly warm), Union Suit (slightly warm) and Donegal Sweater (slightly warm). It's overly complicated, but most coats can work as part of a cold weather outfit when used in combination with the above items. I'm sure I've missed some, they are off the top of my head. Focusing on 1 enemy team is what makes it simple and enjoyable. I'll just go out and say it: This is the best PVP mode so far. People played them for 8 years, still do. So clearly something works there. Rockstar went with overcomplicating PVP modes when they should've just keep it simple. But with introduction of Spoils of War (Hold your Own) maybe they realized they had it right with RDR 1 multiplayer. I hope we see more stuff like this. Liar's Dice, Poker, Team Shootout, Mexican Standoff, unique mounts, Mexico, Grab the Bag modes...all things players loved. The other team was full of 50+'s and it was pretty clear several of them had it.... not a soul on my team had it as we were all <50's. We got pwned I noticed that problem in other PVP modes too (most wanted, name your weapon, etc.). If one team has two-three 100+ players, it ends up in a huge win for them. That's why that game still thrives, at least a huge contributer to that success. We play our game of it, weather alone in peace or public, or together in peace or public. I mIeafn I play with invite friends only, or when I play in a public session, my lag switch removes me from anyone I don't care to be around. Unfortunately, the lag switch method doesn't work on RDO.
