Unusual ways to complete missions/objectives

I am the kind of person who uses violence as a last resort. I avoid hitting pedestrians or causing unnecessary damage to vehicles, as bullets and explosives are best used when it matters the most, and most of the time I find ways to minimise casualties by shooting people in the leg and running up to them, so it doesn't add a kill to my stats.

Most missions allow you to get away with murder. Sometimes shooting a target with a sniper rifle to the leg makes them "unconscious" so they're not technically dead.

If I'm forced to commit bloodshed, I'd fail the mission 3 times to activate the skip function, then replay the mission, which doesn't affect my stats, as I try to get gold medals.

I would like to know what kind of methods you employ to complete missions, that is not usually seen or heard of.

I started doing this pacifist challenge for GTA IV, and it took so much time to reduce the kill count to less than 50. But with mission skips for GTA V, I am confident I can get to 0 kills when the story mode is complete.

One question, what is the REAL point of this?, gta has a lot of violence and doin the things you said doesn't mean protagonist will be clean guys, they killed a lot of guys(not realistic but they did) and you tryin to make it look clean, amazing...

I see it just as an additional self made challenge to make the playthrough more interesting, the playstyle doesn't need to fit the story.

As for the topic, some ideas for playthroughs I've seen on YouTube (but haven't had the patience to try):
-turn off the HUD
-play always in first-person view
-don't take any damage during missions (there are also 1 health point mods for PC)

The purpose of the pacifist challenge is to reduce the amount of kills that would normally be caused by any means. I think it would prove useful in the future because it would make me think carefully on how to approach targets and neutralise with great efficiency, without adding unnecessary bloodshed.

The methods I employ are to use the police or other members to kill the enemies for me, shooting the leg or arms and incapacitate them on the floor, skip parts of the mission that force me to kill, or using a vehicle, set it on fire then park near a group of enemies so that the blast kills them, but it won't count against me.

This kind of challenge is tougher than anything available now because you can miss out on reducing the kill count from a single mistake.

Then again, this idea might not be everyone's cup of tea, as you can play the game however you want.

This is actually a very interesting way to play the game especially for a game that's highly notorious for violence and killing. I would love to see someone go through the game without firing one bullet. (Which is impossible)

Just passed Blitz Play without a single kill, currently the hardest mission yet. I had to time the grenade throws and character switches perfectly, because the explosion has no effect if you switch too early, but if timed right, it won't add any kills to your stats.

The tough part was shooting the police officers into the fire from Trevor's RPG, so that they die from the fire rather than my bullets.

Only the snipers can be incapacitated, by leg or arm shots, but the regular police recover from these situations.

I understand that approach but skipping mission parts is kind of cheating then. You might try to use the taser as soon as it is available.
