Help! Can't connect to GTA V online

Hi,

 

After taking a 2 month break from the game, my friends started playing online so I tried to launch my game and it launched social club in offline mode. I would get the error "The Rockstar game services are unavailable right now. Please return to Grand Theft Auto V." It used to work fine and now it doesn't. I get that error when I try to launch GTA V online through steam directly. When I go into story mode and connect to online, it says I have to sign into social club but when I try that the social club menu is just a blank screen. I've tried:

Resetting my network settings

Rebooting my PC

Redownloading GTA V

Verifying the integrity of game files

Reinstalling social club

Deleting my save game files and my launcher settings

 

Someone please try to help. Thank you in advance.

Did you check your windows/router firewall settings? Sounds like you've blocked GTA. Could be something else though.

 

I'm no expert but this works for me and should for you; try opening a command prompt/powershell and doing this 

ping prod.cloud.rockstargames.com

You should get a response from something like rsgames-2.hs.llnwd.net. If not, something your end is shutting you down.

I check and my firewall is not blocking it. Also I typed in the command and the response was fine. 4 packets sent, 4 received.
