How to stop Certain players following me to every lobby

Does anyone know a way of stopping these certain griefer joining my lobbies from friends crews, they have followed me to the past 10 lobbies, and they keep trying to do the orbital cannon glitch on me, this is becoming quite annoying as there no way I can stay in a solo public lobby without them joining. Appearing offline doesn’t really do much as they’ve added people from my crew and joining from friends crews, then my crew, once I left a lobby within a few minutes they’ll be back in my lobby, this is quite annoying as I can no longer do CEO cargo without them joining.

Already done that, they have added people from my crew and joining from friends crew, then my crew

If any of them have an invite to your crew you are screwed even if your friends delete all of them. Even if they have invites to your friends crews they can find a way into your lobby through your friends if you happen to be with them.

There may be a way to remove their crew invites but you would need to know each person that invited them, if you have a large crew it would be near impossible. If you have a small crew and know exactly who sent the invites, then those players would need to send out about 25 more invites for these players to lose their invites.

 

Other than that you are screwed. You would need to start a new crew, and only play with these particular friends in private lobbies.

 

Ive hunted many crews in my day and Im pretty sure you are f*cked, unless like I said you have a very small crew and can figure it out.

On ps4 blocking or showing offline will do nothing, it only works to stop those who are your friends...  lol... idk about xb1.

Yea you're in a tough spot bro. Idk how big your crew is but depending on how long this has been going on there is no telling how many links these guys have made to your crew. At this point you're just a sitting duck waiting for them to get bored and move on to the next crew, if you're lucky..depends how much you pissed them off.

Forget to mention before but on PS4 you can even join players if they are in a community, no crew or friend link needed, again idk about xb1.

Submit a ticket. You might get someone at R* that fancies themselves a protector of good sports. I'm not joking. It's worth a shot, takes just a sec, and the griefers might get deleted if you give them usernames and it's obvious they glitched at the airport.

My crew isn’t too big only around 35 members, worse part of it I can’t tell who these griefers have added cause they have there friends list on private, only way at moment is playing with my gamertag unlinked, which I don’t want to keep doing cause then I can’t get anything from my crew.

If there are only 35 people in your crew, contact each member individually and ask them if they are friends with said person explaining the problem. If no-one confesses, and the problem doesn't go away, just create a new crew and invite all old crew mates who have set their friends list public for friends/crew, so you can double check yourself. And for those "crew mates" who don't want you to see who they keep as friends, well, they can always play with themselves or join IGN.

Creating a new crew is my only option at the moment which I wanna try to avoid, my only other option is to clear out my current crew with the members the griefers have added until I can get them to block them, playing with my gamertag unlink does work, but trying to avoid that so can still play in my crew.

Take a screenshot/short video every time they OC you. If it is happening as frequently as you state that is the very definition of harassment and against Rockstar EULA. Send it to R* and let them take appropriate action. 

 

Not sure it falls under Sonys remit but no harm making them aware also.

R dont give a f*ck lol One time a rank 8000 used a taser gun on me. I sent R video of the whole thing. Nothing ever happened to that guy.

Most people do it cause I’m a high level & they think I’m modded I get it all the time, I switched lobbies about 10-15 times last night and they would keep joining constantly and trying to orbital cannon me.

I do have screenshots of some of there names, I might try and send R* a ticket about it, I’m also going contact Microsoft about it to, can’t be dealing with this everyday, it’s impossible for me to grind ceo cargo with this happening.

You say it happened one time though. That's not harassment that's just getting killed lol. 

 

What the OP describes, a particular player making a point to lobby hop and repeatedly disrupt his play is harassment and certainly against Rockstars terms of use. Maybe they will take it seriously maybe they won't but other than this there is not much else the OP can do unfortunately.

He didnt kill me, just used taser gun but the point is the guy was rank 8000 and using the taser gun online which he could have easily been banned for either but R does not care.

A group of players joining a players lobby and hitting him with the cannon repeatedly is legit play. Im sure it happens all day everyday. Sure you can report them but it will probably just end up in a stack of millions of other reports of players griefing.

Legit play? Are you mental? Following a player, repeatedly, from lobby to lobby is harassment and trying to disrupt his play, which is in breach of the terms of use. Sorry but not "legit"

When I see players getting penalized for griefing Ill believe it, until then its standard R bs. Rules like that are only stated to cover their own asses. Lets see them act on it.

What makes you think they do? Look at the current state of the game. Griefers are everywhere. It would be impossible for R to go through every report, investigate them all and take proper action.

I been around here 6 years. Never heard of a player getting banned just for griefing. But you do see players complaining about being griefed on a near daily basis, yet nothing gets done about it.

I can hit the same player with the cannon all day if I wanted to and R wont do sh*t.

I like MTU players. Chances are if someone is in there at that packet size they are there for the same reason. I've never been griefed at 850

Nothing can be done sadly on Xbox, only thing you can do now is either break as many ties as your willing to, to stop him bypassing every form of block you can manage via normal means, or play something else for a month or two and let the heat die down. MSTR at one point had at least 3 decently sized crews stalk us, alongside countless random crewless plebs up from around at least late March 2018 till around mid way through the After Hours update when most of us (As well as Ghillie himself) took a break from GTA, by the time the current update dropped, most of the known stalkers had either f*cked off or quit playing all together (Most laughably moved to Fortnite)

or use the coveted passive mode

or befriend them and convince em' to spend their time more wisely

or regularly report him for glitching in game and send R* support a message a long with some screenshots, maybe they'll actually act.
