What topic? This game may as well not have ever existed, it's not even worth talking about anymore so old cars are much more relevant.

They definitely took this bread out of the oven far too early, lol.

I'd have preferred they release a fuller game we can properly test. Game should've passed the beta phase long ago.

Dude, if you take yourself seriously and actually mean what you say, you should have stopped playing GTAO in 2016 and never started playing RDO.

It‘s funny how all the anti-mtxers shout out for a boycott of games with mtx, but nevertheless ALL of them are playing r* games lol.

If they are really such a big problem to you, don‘t support those companies. You‘re just about as good as the players you‘re demonizing for buying let‘s say the 6$ 25goldbar package they had in the beginning.

As long as you didn‘t already stop playing because of mtx, i got only one word: hypocrite. (Doesn‘t apply only to you, but to all people giving them the sh*ts for mtx and still supporting the company)

And before that argument gets brought up: yes, you are supporting the game as an active member of the community. The only way the company will notice your criticism is if you stop playing online.

EDIT: I‘m aware that mtx are a worrying path the gaming industry has taken, but unfortunately this is where things evolve to. It’s just the general evolution of capitalism, trying to monetize everything in our lives up to the tiniest bit. If you got a problem with that, stop playing video games of major companies at all, cause they’re to a big extent just another outgrowth of modern capitalism.

Flaming mtx, the companies or even fellow players who don‘t have that big of a problem with it won‘t bring the nostalgia of „the good old days“ back. Those times are over unfortunately. If you want to make a difference and shove your opinion up their ass initiate a boycott and stop playing it.

EDIT2: awaiting sh*tstorm.

Exactly. Someone who bought the game secondhand and $10 worth of gold bars has given Rockstar less money than someone who bought the game new.

I see lots of low-rank folks using paid emotes, guns & high-rank clothes, so I'd say R* has to be selling tons of gold bars. And lots of low-rank players everywhere. Game must be making 'em decent money. 👍

Cougar farmers spend their ill gotten gains before their cash is wiped.

There's a post about RDR2 online making 5x less than gtao. Gtao makes 500 million a year. So RDR2 online makes 100 million.

Well I'd say that's a pretty penny alright.

Content wise, sure.  But since the Update a couple weeks back, every lobby I've been in has at least 40 players in it, with a lot of them being red dots.  I try to session hop until I can find a lobby half that, but good luck with that.

Best double check that lobby figure it usually say something like 23 of 40 or 20 of 40 it’s another bug as the game has max potential of 32 and it gets very very unstable above 25 far more so then current instabilities reported

In my locale, even the middle of the night has something around 15-20 people in it. I've been playing GTAO as well and that game actually has fewer numbers of people in sessions on rare occasions. The pvp modes (Gunrush especially) can be close to empty during late hours but freeroam always has players in medium to large numbers.

Ofcourse they have more funds than almost any other game company, but there are some things with such big projects that just can‘t be simulated before the actual release.

100.000s players on day one, 1 million after few weeks. (Numbers are complete guesses, I don‘t have any nor did I care to look for them)

server stresstests, high workload tests, asynchronicity between different timezones/countries can only be tested realistically with the actual release.

They want to create a game that will last for years, sure as hell they wanna get their sh*t right before rushing content dlcs out.

I got atleast 7 friends that cant even play RDO cause they are still being kicked out every 10 minutes, disconnected....

This is still not fixed.

And believe me they/we tryed every possible solution there is, Rockstar just doesnt care...
