Sell in solo lobbies and park some where to shoot all the npcs then carry on peacefully because even if you're out running the npcs they're shooting guns and pedestrains cars will smash onto you out of fear or sh*t coding by rockstar.

I've been re-reading this thread the past couple days looking for advice, very helpful. I got to wondering, at least one person has mentioned something about sourcing and selling your favorite/preferred high end vehicle once you get your 30 vehicles or whatever.

Will certain vehicles only spawn in their own certain situations or is that random??? i only bought my vehicle warehouse a few days ago, so idk if certain models are locked into certain setups...

as far as I know you can get any mission for any car, but the difficulty (number of wanted stars, number of AI chasing you, abandoned car turns out to have a security detail) increases with the value of the car

so I can get the same job, the movie stunt jump, or a joyrider running from the cops, in ANY vehicle model, but it can be standard, mid, or top range... is what you're saying? Hmm ok so if I wanna pick my preferred car, just pick my favorite or the one I think looks coolest or easy to associate with what I'm doing?

No, you want to choose a top range car that you're reasonably good at driving so you can source/sell it with as little difficulty as possible.

I'm having thoughts of moving to another vehicle warehouse but not sure yet. which one is the best one to has a better location? I have the La Mesa one.

Another question - if I have to empty out my garage, is their a certain way I need to do it so I don't mess up the 32 car trick, like after selling the top range cars first, do I need to sell all mid range after or can I do a mixture of mid and standard?

I'm at Murrieta Heights and like it, because there's highway access directly to it via a broken wall, and no other f*cker is ever there.

There's no trick to it other than never selling Low or Mid when filling the new one. If you've got a friend with an empty VW you can export all the mids and lows using the lowest price option (no mods) and drive them straight into theirs, to reverse after. Otherwise export them using the lowest option and blow them up immediately. Or sell them at the highest price, obv.

Just recently got a vehicle warehouse at La Mesa and I really like the location. It's basically right off the highway so you can cruise in pretty fast and come off the ramp, two blocks and your there. Also planning on buying the nightclub right next door so I don't have to run back to the office at Maze Bank. The nightclub is about one block over so you can go back and take care of your other business needs. It seems like a nice setup.

I've closed down my IE business for good because I've had enough of the NPC bullsh*t and I don't need any more money in this game. From a seasoned grinder, the best advice given in this thread is....  Bank the cash on second char and source without thinking about the damage.

Don't use Cargobob or you will die out of boredom very soon. If you're not selling in public solo, NPC enemies will never spawn so it's better to sell that way. Some time ago I thought that the Bob was essential, but now...

2. What if I get a duplicate of a car in that certain range, do I sell it right away?

If you start getting duplicates you've exceeded the 10/10/12 "rule" and should sell the dupe right away.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is that if you start getting duplicates and don't sell them you can brake the 10/10/12 if you sell the wrong car and get two of f.ex the same high end car in your warehouse, resulting in possible spawn of low and mid range cars instead of only high end cars.

Iirc you need to have one of each car for this to work. As long as you have 10 different low end cars and 10 different mid end cars you'll only source high end cars as long as you don't exceed 12 high end cars.

I know your post is about a month old so this might be old news and others have covered most of the things, maybe all of it also 😎

I have the La Mesa one and don't see any reason to change location, you also have to start from scratch with sourcing everything all over again iirc.

Get a Cargobob instead of wasting money on changing location, I also have friends with different locations and don't see any big benefits of owning any of them, maybe just a little more convenient with the most expensive one but a Cargobob solves that anyway

I had actually bought one recently and totally see what you mean now. Almost fell asleep.

Yea that's what is not making me decide to change right away because I'd have to start from scratch and collect all the cars again, might as well keep the La Mesa one since I already know where to park the car that I'm selling away from NPCs about to attack my car. It would suck to get a new location and have spot to park your car out of the way in time when NPCs come and attack you.

This is where I hid the car when selling and avoid NPCs from shooting it, just incase you didn't know this yet. when you go inside, go to the left side near the tall sand pile.

I don't own a cargobob yet so I'll probably get one when I get lots of money

I always use Cargobob when selling so I don't have to think about the attacking npc but I really don't do much of I/E anymore, can't be arsed to grind, more interested in doing interesting things :)

All good advice given.  I agree that La Mesa is the best location, I've tried a few.  I'm now at Davis on Character #1 and La Mesa on #2.  Davis is kind of interesting and challenging.  There are several places you can park the IE car and fight off the NPC's if you get sick of the Cargobob (which I do).  Over by the Arena Warehouse entrance is fun but more prone to damage on the IE car.  But if you have a tank parked over there you make some huge chain reactions on the freeway and the NPC's get caught up in it.

You can also park the IE car behind the skateboard ramps at the park behind the Family housing projects and fight the NPC's off with a tank or your Speedo Custom with the minigun.  But the Davis Gang turns against you about half the time and you have to deal with them.

I've found a perfect spot now across from the fire station.  Pull the IE car under the little bridge across from the Fire Station and have your tank parked in the ditch.  Never any damage to the IE car.

With La Mesa there's a perfect spot over by the ice warehouse in the alley.  Easy to find that one.

Try straight back from that in the alley.  There's a spot to pull the car in by a little side alley.  You can have a tank parked there or just use your hand held weapons.

Or just use Cargobob and fly straight to delivery point :)

I hate to hear this, I just bought one. Only made two deliveries so far, but I'm not too good at picking cars up with it so it's still a challenge for me. I'm determined to get better at it.

That's exactly where I park too! Great spot. I also call for the OP2 before I get to the spawn point so I can hop right on. Saves time and ammo.

I mean, it's not so much retrieving the vehicle itself with the Cargobob that's the issue; rather the long journey in between bringing it to your drop-off point.

For a relatively light vehicle the Cargobob should lift with ease, it feels like a lot more of a hassle than it needs to be. Especially with NPC helicopters pursuing you, may risk an emergency landing or damaging the vehicle further if the 'bob's engines give out.

For your own sanity I would recommend not trying to cargobob a Tyrus, or if you do remember the hitch point is basically just in front of the spoiler, not the roof.

If you're in a position to choose which car you I/E (ie you have 11 or 12 Highs) then go X80 or FMJ, they are the lightest. Z Type and Roosevelt are deadweight.

why getting the fmj tough? the z-type is only 1000 kg, even the reaper is marginally lighter. Tough I can understand not wanting to bother with the tyrus and the mamba

I wondered about how heavy the Z-Type is tbh (I keep that 2-car collection on hand for a mate) and yeah I forgot reaper.

ye, i also do the same if I know I'm playing with a friend. X80 and z-type back to back. Tough the mamba is also light  (1160kg iirc) but it can be a pain to hook if you get the roofless version

Urban Legends

Quite literally the closest I have to came to failing an export mission.. Filmed during the recent "Speed" week...

La Mesa warehouse.. I basically treat it as an arcade game where I randomly get a car I dont own with free 5 minute custom time. Tons of good info in this thread.. I delivered like 66 cars in a row and believe me I only briefly check the map for oppressors before heading out.. There aint no secret to this sh*t
