jimmyoneshot
This is something I've never quite figured out in all the months of playing this game. Whenever I am fist fighting 2 or more enemies at once, I hold L2 to lock onto one (which in itself a lot of the time doesn't even succeed until you've been punched once) and I try to back up so that the other enemies are behind him and can't hit me in the side or from behind. The reason I do this is because there doesn't seem to be any way to switch target to a different enemy. The only time Arthur switches his focus to an enemy is when they have actually hit him. Am I missing something or is this element of the controls really this bad? Edited March 6, 2019 by jimmyoneshot

Cutter De Blanc
Never noticed before, but you're right. If you keep trying to sprint away from your opponent EVENTUALLY you can break the lock-on and maybe switch targets A bit garbage, to be sure

RyuNova
Hold the left stick in the direction of a new enemy and press attack, they will become your focus. I may be wrong but I am sure you can change lock on by flicking the right stick in the direction you want.
