This game didn't use the same models in cutscenes right?

So if i'm not wrong, some of the moments was like the game used gameplay character models for even scripted parts of the game,we sure max payne 3 complately did it in most of the cutscenes(you can watch it on youtube, there is a video on youtube that make the player watch cutscenes like it was controlled by the player,so third person wiev,we can clearly see it),anyway then rockstar followed this with gta 5 and i'm sure they did with rdr2 too.But the question is "did this come with rdr1?" or was this one of those designs that we first saw in max payne 3?

Yes. Ever since GTA 4 the cutscenes used the gameplay models.

GTA IV only did that with very specific peds.

We have no idea yet. We have to wait till we can peak around in the game files.

Uhm...not really.

The motion capture cutscenes in IV, V etc. All use cutscene only models.

In IV and V they have more bones, higher polygon count and higher resolution textures.

Gta wiki says gta 5 is the first game to use gameplay character models in cutscenes, maybe whoever wrote that was mistaken but we sure 5 used the same models cuz i watched a video and there was a cop that tries to attack trevor in a cutscene.

gtawiki is a bad source for correct information.

btw, the game does have 3 different types of model types:

ig models = ingame

cs model = cutscene

and csb models = i think cutscene base

the cop that attacked trevor is a csb model.

the other cops are normal ingame ones.

GTA Wiki is not a bad source for correct information. The problem here is that you don't know what you're talking about. GTA V does, indeed, use gameplay models for cutscenes. The cop attacking Trevor that the person above mentioned was an unscripted event and the cop intruded the cutscene due to a glitch.

again, if it´s a glitch then the cops don´t count.

but every character that is in cutscenes except of Michael, Franklin and Trevor does have a seperate cutscene  model.
