Wabby Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 A lot of you are probably aware that the daily challenges do pretty much encourage griefing because it's easier to kill an unsuspecting player rather than loading into a showdown series or a race, so I won't really go further into that. One of yesterdays daily challenges was to "Win a Feud." However, I was unable to get a single person to accept a feud. I would just let people kill me and try to start a feud, but half the time it barred me from even selecting the feud option. The daily challenge for today is to pick 5 American Ginsengs. Half the ginsengs I picked up didn't even count towards the challenge, which is very strange since I just kept resetting the area to pick the same two American Ginsengs over and over. This seems to be a common occurrence with daily challenges involving plants from what I've seen from some youtube comments (Tip: by reloading the area I mean going to online > free roam; I usually get spawned in the same general area and so do the plants/animals instead of having to run around the entire map). Well theres american ginsing and alaskan. pick the wrong one and it won't register. i do all my pvp challenges in showdowns and gun rush. way easier. I had the same issue today, eventually switching sessions several times finally allowed me to move from being stuck at 4/5 to completing it. Certainly not worth the time and upset. Heartlands and Big Valley, quite a few spots near Valentine and Downes Ranch (tuberculosis dude) try looking on the left side of the road going out of Valentine direction Strawberry. Could try Cumberland Forrest too I know both types appear there, never in groups so if you see a lone plant it will most likely be a ginseng. For whatever reason Bluewater Marsh was utterly devoid of gators and herons, so I switched sessions about five times, got gators and every other manner of bird except herons. Finally got those elusive herons by stopping at those island northeast of Saint Denis and jumping lobbies via Freeroam instead of Lemoyne. coach_wargo Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 You have to complete a challenge in a single play session. If you log out and come back later it will reset. For example, sell 5 perfect pelts. I sold 3 in the morning before work. When logged in after work it was set back to 0/5. Same thing with eat 5 canned goods. I found some American ones just around Flatneck Station, some by the Dakota River right by Valentine and then some more just by Cumberland Forest. Switching sessions and a bit of luck. aFinn Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 I got lucky and saw a flying flock of Herons and was able to complete that daily. If you stay there long enough, a few gators spawn in before disappearing again if you skin one. At night time you might get 2 Herons to spawn by the side of the road in the Marsh, but that's about it apart from the flying birds. How can they get away with this, emptying the best hunting ground? They already nerfed the plumes to 1, wasn't that enough? And then they have had this skin Herons challenge already twice. There is Semi-Auto Shotgun on Most Wanted Tall Trees. Edit: Hostile Territory Rhodes has two Semi-Auto Shotguns in the middle.
