That's was main weapon in Bag matches in Armadillo. I still remember where it would spawn and how everybody would run over there. All i can remember is high magazine and really good for PVP. Chrismads
I just murdered some guy trying to ruin my hideout with slippery bastard and hip fired evans. I can recommend that tactic. Spray and pray. He was very obviously suffering from suppression and couldn't hit a thing. Nope, Lancaster is '66 Winchester. I very much want the '73 Winchester, a magnificent weapon. So we could get an even better Lancaster at some point. I have had far better performance out of my Lancaster than I ever expected. The bolt action is my high power long arm of choice (unless buffalo rifle makes a return). The springfield is okay, but I prefer the larger clip. DentureDynamite and Rafae S

After a couple days with it, it got to a point where I couldn't rely on it in PvP/chance skirmishes. I had to put a lot of shots on target it seemed. I'm not a good head-shot player at all. I stay on my horse, zig-zag and kill from afar with my Springfield. Closer in, the Lancaster and even closer in, the shotgun pistols. I just don't feel good about the Evans in any of those situations. For clearing hideouts though, I love it. clinical oppression

Assblaster
After having gotten it and used it, I have to admit I like it a lot. I like the look, sound & feel of it. It's something different; and for a gun enthusiast it's a must-have. I've already customized it to make it my own. tonko, U Carmine, A Man Deprived and 2 others
hugh750
i've been thinking about buying the evens repeating rifle to combat griefers and to use in game modes and challenges, so should i just pass on the evens and stay with my bolt action rifle or get something else? A Man Deprived
So now that it's been out for a good 3 days, has any other customization enthusiast gotten the chance to personalize theirs? I'd love to see what you guys have come up with. Each weapon type works as a perfect kill for a particular animal type, some examples are rifles for medium/large game (bolt action/springfield/rolling block/carcano, varmint is too small caliber) such as deer, wolves, elk, cougars/bears, repeaters work on small/medium animals such as pigs and coyote/foxes, bows for the tiniest birds/animals like songbirds and squirrels/chipmunks but it also requires small game arrows. Any of the examples above will reduce the pelt/carcass quality if shot with the wrong weapon even if it was a clean one shot kill. So I apologize if I'm making assumptions here but if you're using the Evan's repeater to kill anything other than the correct animal type it will drop in quality. Chrismads
I've never gotten a perfect kill on a fox or coyote with a repeater. Bow with normal arrows are way easier.
Foxwolfe
To be honest I could be wrong about those two and they're instead bow kills, certain animals I admittedly haven't checked the info on in a while.

hugh750
as i've previously mentioned in this thread i've been thinking about buying a evens repeater to use in game modes and missions, even to help fight griefers, is the evens repeater worth the $300 expense? Different guns for different situations. Up close I usually use a shotgun, but I love my schofield too. Lancaster is great for pvp, but for range I may go with the bolt action, especially hunting medium to larger game. The Evans is useful too, great for pve, but it also has aesthetic value for me. I don't regret buying the Evans repeater. U Carmine and A Man Deprived
