Eating has changed with the recent update it seems.

I was overweight/ obese +8% or something like that.

I put on my warm weather outfit, nearly emptied all my cores and then started running a marathon in and around the west of New Austin.

After like 30 mins change session and find that your weight has dropped like 0.75% a pop..

The problem is that the weight now stays stable for way longer.

Being perfect or underweight is preferred now since gaining is much easier then losing atm.

Yeh but when up against other high level players one and two shot kills still count, plus character looks bloody orible shaped like a bear barrel

My female is overweight in the red as well. So is the guy who I posse with. Have not seen any physical changes but yeah, getting into scrums does take a lot out of you.

Going on a "carrots only" diet.

Brawny and heavy characters definitely get huge when overweight. I got sick of the clipping issues so I put mine on a diet. Ran him hard a long long time with red core (and no din din) and now finally he's average lol.

Wonder how long it'll be before someone starts a Fat Acceptance Posse for us Heavy Body characters.

I wouldn't join, of course

I want all that delicious Minty Big Game Meat all to myself

Sometimes, I even wonder if people make brawny or heavy body types as a reflection of real life. It's the first thing that comes across my mind.

Right ive got my weight down to average now, by using my camp and upgraded tent Ive not fed him for 4 days and to keep up his cores ive moved my camp around with me at a small cost, I nip to it every game day for 5 mins to fill up the cores resting. \that way he has lost weight because he hasnt eaten

Shouldnt need to go to these extremes but hey ho this is the sh*te R* cant be arsed to correct. FFS the game is beta R* do online changes OH but you do that but only in your favour or balance but f*ck the customer they dont warrant it

I'm going to have to start doing this.

The clipping on my brawny character, even at average weight, is ridiculous. I'm going to starve him back down to underweight.

If we ever get an edit character option I'll be changing my characters body type to average.

Mine is average, Sorry was average he is still a fat f*cker after getting him back to average yesterday i fed him 5 tins of food over 2 real life hours late last night and he is back to obese

Is it a bug or have R* introduced it with the update as before update i was underweight all the time and could feed him dozens of meat and cans per day without him putting weight on

Yeah, I use to eat big game meat and never gained weight, now a couple of tins of salmon pile on the pounds.

I'm going to try and get mine back to underweight and then see what affect a fresh fruit only diet has, shouldn't gain too much weight from that. It'll be a pain trying to maintain cores that way though.

Yes its a pain now and ive finally found a use for camp and tent upgrade plus ive now enginered it into my daily play.

Load into New Haven then 1st check where camp is if not where i need it place it in the Bayou then fast travel to camp top up cores go hunt and do strangers in the east dropping into camp regularly to top up cores.

If stranger missions take me further afield i move camp to suit soi usually do my stuff around ST Denis, Rhodes, Van Horn Annesburg and occasionally Valentine. Once this are starts to populate i go option and start game again following the above.

There is a small issue though the above is done during daytime real life but evenings i play with mates doing similar but dont quite have the freedom to use camp as i do int the daytime as im in my mates posse so last night used tinned food but put weight back on easily

Have you tried roping wild horses or other large game and playing tug of war with them. I know it makes stamina drop quite fast doing so. Maybe it'll help drop weight.

More garbage from R*. It didn't work right at first, so they overcorrect so it doesn't work in a more annoying way.

I eat like 1 prime beef or 1 big game per day, to top off my health. And I'm overweight? I've starting letting my core run down, no change yet, but that's a poor solution if it works, let your core drain to eat, so you're not overweight? Let alone all the clipping that occurs on the ridiculous "overweight" character model.

Fix your game R*.

Sorry, fix your "beta" R*.

but letting your cores go low makes you very vulnerable in a shoot out

I don't think I mind my character being slightly overweight, I was in the underweight (red) for weeks. Besides if my toon is gonna be based on me, he needs some junk in the trunk. I'm an older guy, & not as slim as I used to be, even with raising three kids.  😛

Once you finish the story mission Kill Them, Each and Every One, run around while wearing that armored suit. I ran around for 15 minutes in it and dropped weight.

I did this at the beginning because dumbf*cks love to make a beeline to Teddy the INSTANT he is dead (yeah, wouldn't want all that free money/tonics/whatnot, just lying around now, would we?).

I actually got my overweight out of the red for the first time in a week. Thanks!

When you open your image in Imgur, over to right you should see the "copy" options.  Select BBCode, it automatically copies the link then paste here.
