How is last-gen looking these days?

You will likely find at least one modder in every lobby. Sometimes they'll make money bags rain from the sky. Mostly they'll just spawn everyone in the lobby to one place so they can kill them all. They'll do this indefinitely. And you usually can't kill them back because they're invulnerable. On the plus side, this doesn't always happen. Free-roam lobbies can be peaceful compared to the sky-bike chaos in today's game.

is it possible to go online on last gen with your current account without the stats and money getting reset to the old status on last gen?

i'm interested to go online with my old ps3 but i'm afraid that i will lose my progress and money which i have earned on pc by now.

You won't lose any progress on current generation by playing the game on last gen, once you have made the transfer to current gen, both accounts exists separately for both versions of the game.
