So this happened the other day...  

 

Not sure how this happened after I was talking a treasure hunter.  Took his hat then saw the boat...

 

What other outlandish impossible things have been seen in the game?

This didn't actually happen to me, but I wish it did.

It even syncs almost perfectly with You Spin Me Right Round if you play this at the same time.

Loaded the autosave after setting up my camp in New Austin as Arthur.  It loaded in the DEAD screen first thing,  didn't even show me getting killed, just loading screen...DEAD

went to Saint Denis on like day 2 of the game being out, walking around and out of nowhere the streets were FULL of burned out boats and barges.

Went back to the pig farm where the creepy brother and sister lived as John and found a deer in their bedroom.

It ran me down while I was chasing it through the house lol

 

 

Have had a few other crazy things happen.

The very first time i visited saint denis, I heard this pig squeeling. its near the stables and lo and behold a boar jumps from the roof and splatters on the ground. I was laughing for a good five minutes while asking myself "WTF just happened?!?"

That's interesting, but it also seems kinda cheap considering you can get struck in camps.

more then 150 hours and never got that encounter at campfire! Any easy way to trigger it?

I'd say try to get on the top of some hill and equip viking helmet, it could trigger logically lol

I had this encounter when playing last night. Sadly, no lightning, but I camped near Elysian Pool not far from Butcher's Creek, but on the other side, next to an upright dead tree that was a little ways in the water. It was foggy as anything, so I picked the first flat bit of ground I came across. She came running up and started going on about how BC is cursed. In the end, she freaked herself out, saying John's eyes looked like her uncles and she ran off. I didn't think to follow her. First time I had seen that.

When I pulled the fishing line, it jump off to the sky and moved to the shore in a moment. Sadly, I didn't save the video.

I've never seen anything like this glitch posted elsewhere. If you read the video title, it's not what you think. Weird multiplication of some sort.

I don't have a video, but I had what I thought was an insane experience yesterday.

 

I went to Black Belle's hut to complete that portion of the side mission. While she was talking to the bounty hunters I heard some background talking that didn't make much sense to me. I can't recall the exact words but it sounded like a prisioner arguing with a guard maybe?

 

And there was a jail wagon parked in the street I didn't recognize from the scenario, but I figured I was seeing things ?

 

When the cue came to blow the dynamite I did and then dove for cover. Upon standing up from cover to shoot the bounty hunters my auto aim snapped to the driver on the wagon and without thinking it through I killed him with a head shot. This caused an immediate honour loss and triggered a bounty/investigating crime scenario. All the while Belle and I were fending off Bounty Hunters per normal, Red Star Lawmen showed up in waves and added to the body count. It was intense.

Then if that were not enough, once the bounty hunters (and what looked like all the lawmen) were dead Belle 's cut scenes grabbing her gear and heading out started.

 

While we were walking down the boardwalk to the street during the cut scene (I have no control over arthur) there is a lawman standing next to the steps pointing a gun at me. Belle poses and while I am trying to get the camera handheld and the picture taken I hear multiple shots fired.  My body jerks and I get the picture taken, Belle rides off and suddenly I'm able to control my self but smack dab in a point blank gun battle with 3 lawmen who apparently want me dead or alive.. LOL.

 

Luckily I managed to kill the last one just before he squeezed of what would have been a fatal shot on me.

 

Anyone else managed to earn $120 bounty as an aside to a side a mission at the same time? During cut scenes even?

I had that exact same experience in that exact same location. Can't recall what triggered it though.
