White Shark Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 This vehicle is on my to buy list, but one of the small off putting things about it is that it only has a primary colour for it. No secondary and no liveries either, which is a shame. Aside from 98% of gamers who paint it black and think they're Batman, I was wondering about some alternatives, maybe utilising pearlescent to pull off some cool looks. Any suggestions? It’s a great vehicle btw...great for collecting bounties because it has a normal blip on the map so they don’t know what is coming. The missiles are great, same as the Ruiner and Deluxo. I crushed the time trial today by 20 seconds across the entire map. Yes, but only at LSC. You don't even need to glitch it, I brought in my matte Diabolus & I was able to do it immediately. Drove in > Paint > Pearlescent. Astrohurricane Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 I will preface this statement by stating that I haven’t tried it myself, but I don’t think the matte pearlescent glitch will work. You need to change the number plate to get this to work and the Vigilante doesn’t have a number plate. Same reason it doesn’t work on the RE-7B. Even at Los Santos customs you need to be able to change the number plate though. If the vehicle doesn’t have a number plate you can’t do the matte - pearlescent glitch anywhere. Before I had custom plates I'd click on metallic paint, hover over black for a few seconds, back out go to window tint or rims, buy that and then go to pearlescent. I eventually had enough & bought it full price. It finally went on sale again 11 months after I bought it & I don't regret my decision one bit. Just don't buy it in the middle of an event lol. Sadly, there's no way to pearlescent it whilst it is matte. Can't get it to work at all. So at the moment I've got it as matte light gray, which unfortunately doesn't look that great on this vehicle.
