Be happy for all the players out there who could finally afford a fast travel post at their camp, new clothes for Cripps or a decent horse! And hurts R* pocket, As much as I dislike R* attitude to customers doing these dollar glitches, It will hurt them Player X is skint only a few dollars to his name and R* release new expensive clothes guns horse etc so player X goes buys gold from store to buy what he desires. F*ckers spawn twice per century and pays $14 (in perfect condition) - I think you’ll survive without them until R* manages to make a proper fix. Sorry mate, but I can't agree on this one, many, many players including me were hunting cougars for a "living" and panthers maybe less so but still doing it the "right way" and now like everyone else have to be punished for people abusing glitches. If you want to be an apologist for this kind of behavior at least be reasonable. I don't care who and how many times did this and what happens to them. Play your game the way you want. After all it's your money spent, but don't take a dump on legit players saying we can't complain like at all for this situation. Fact is this is and will remain cheating/exploits, no matter how you wanna twist it. Again not judging do whatever you want. Good day. The blame lies squarely at Rockstar's door. A team of world class game developers, working on one of the most popular titles at the moment, can't implement a more substantive fix than just removing an animal? The game doesn't actually have an economy for glitches to skew, money appears from nowhere, as do all purchasable items, which are available in infinite quantity. It's R*s attitude that stinks, making cougars impossible to sell for everyone is the equivalent of a teacher giving the whole class detention because they don't know which pupil did something "wrong". If R* really wanted to serve up some punishment, it can't be that difficult to track all the $13 (or however much) sales happening every few seconds on some accounts. That being said, the game is in beta, now is the time for glitches to be found, highlighted and fixed. R* need to pull their finger out and actually fix the glitches, not wait days on end before applying a "fix" that solves f*ck all. If you don’t like players cheating/glitching, I can understand that but complaining over the fact that one of the rarest animals in the game will be out of shop for a few days thanks to glitching, when there are hundreds of animal types in the game - many of which pay just as well - just seems to me like a weird thing to complain about. But I really don’t mean to bash anyone and I’m sorry if I came off as taking a dump on players! I don’t know. Some people seem to have a huge problem with an easy dupe but people have been taking advantage of solo sessions on GTA for years with no qualms. Sure, it’s sh*tty if you can’t sell the panther or cougar now but it’s not like that was the bread and butter of anyone’s hunt before, and if it was, well, then there are other animals which will do the trick just as fine (or probably better, even). Anyway. I don’t mean to bash on legit players, but I also don’t put any blame on those who choose to glitch. Saying that the glitches have ruined the game for everyone else is moving focus away from the real issues. And in fact it hasn’t ruined the game that much. But of course, I too would like to see a game where people wouldn’t feel the need to glitch. Some always feel that need of course, just as some just can’t stop breaking the law, but that’s beside the point - the point is that the majority of players usually don’t seek out glitches but when all progress is centered around buying stuff, and the money-making is such a slow, tedious process, it’s only natural that players will throw themselves over easy money like a pack of hungry wolves. There’s a lot to this discussion, I feel.. Anyway, I didn’t mean to come across as ignorant, and it’s good that legit players can take pride in being legit, because R* sure isn’t giving them anything for it..
