How is the current money glitch going to affect the economy ?

Is Rockstar further going to be raising prices on upcoming items, your thoughts ?

I certainly hope this is not the case.

I imagine if they have a way to money wipe in GTAO they can do it in RDO as well, as for the items, it's not like there's a ton to buy at the moment and most people are still going through rank unlocks anyway. Don't really imagine it'll affect future prices since as mentioned they have the ability to alter peoples bank accounts. But who knows.

Unaware of one, lol. Not that I wanna know. But I would imagine after GTA:O's issues with these, they are better prepared to do something. Time will tell.

Though GTA:O has the terms of service thing we had to accept and later a 'don't cheat' warning to acknowledge too. Didn't see those for RDRO. (Though I could be forgetting if we did, lol).

It's a money glitch, not a gold bar duplication glitch. There was the jewelry glitch in the mansion. Rockstar just patched the glitch at the update.

No wipe. You could collect the jewelry for months. Rockstar did nothing.

No wipe. You could collect the jewelry for months. But it was boring as hell.

I was unaware of any glitch, but I do know there's a limit to how much jewelry we can carry at any one time (like five I think).

Best to be unaware and not participate, far as I'm concerned. It is a really easy and fast one to achieve from the looks of it. Though I don't condemn people that went out and did it, after all it is their mess up, just prooves they can't do anything right when online is concerned.

I bet they already got the alarm bells ringing at r* though, going to be over that faster then flies on a steaming pile. Obviously they'll be faster to "fix" that than the various bugs we still have like horses bonding, cores and whatnot...

I just wish they don't take this as an excuse to further inflate prices.

The grindy nature of this game already pretty sickening.

I was told that someone exploited herbs / plants awards on day one and got to rank 900+ because their character was bugged. They made a report and rockstar just let him keep the high rank.

Rockstar patched the gold resetting buckle award thing but did they take 'em off people? Don't think so.

I dont think they'll wipe anyone for this $ money thing.

But hunting never gave any gold either, why nerf that then ? I believe they care how much and fast money we making. They know people will still always buy gold glitches or not.

The yield of the mansion glitch was low for the time invested. With the active money glitch it could be different.

Rockstar is data mining us all. In the beginning of gta, everybody would play Rooftop Rumble over and over again. Rockstar nerfed it, not for the muneh. It was 100% legit. Rockstar wanted us to play other activities, like those stupid adversary matches.

I think Rockstar noticed that everybody was hunting or Rooftop cop farming. So nerf that, so that we play Battle Royal.

Rockstar has also a documented history of fixing innocent but fun glitches. Rockstar has a very narrow minded approach how we should play their games. If you are having fun, you do not need gold bars.

The active glitch is certainly on another level of "grinding" cash, saw some bloke do it for at least an hour straight nearby the blackwater tailor with that perfect cougar. Jewelry was like at most what 2.50 for the highest item ? And you still have to go to the fence then so I guess it was way more time consuming.

Probably stapled. But even I never got half that. I don't know what it was that they changed in November to December. It could've been infinite herbs in inventory or something. Or the gold buckle award for herbs could've been high number of XP or resetted infinite times. It's hard to believe as well. It's not proven though. It was more like 940 or something.

Personally, it's not for me. As grindy as it can be I like my level, bank balance and owned weapons to reflect the effort I've put into a game. However, if this current "glitch" causes even just one of the big-wigs at Rockstar/Take Two a ballache I'm all for it!!

I certainly hope Strauss's balls are in for an ache or something funny in the future. Damn leech. Age might be irrelevant, impotence certainly not 😄

R* removed the parachute duffle bag glitch....

Whhyyyy? It did no harm.

They should at least allow us to buy the black/green duffle bag for money or something. But nooooo.

If my legitimate stuff is wiped I'll probably stop playing. That's all. I didn't even know there was a glitch, and would be very pissed off to lose anything thanks to it.

If it doesn't get gold, we probably don't have to worry anyway.

If R* wiped or did an account reset they may as well repurpose all their employees to make content for GTA, because at that point whatever audience RDRO has would stop playing altogether. RDRO would be completely dead.

I know I would stop playing, I'd also do a chargeback on gold purchases made.

"Having fun" doesn't pay the bills here.

Yours truly,

Strauss - Zelnick, CEO.

In gta I glitched the cop uniform. For hours I would drive around in a stolen Police Cruiser in an invite only session. That the cop uniform glitch would hurt the gameplay of other people is total BS. If I am role playing, I do not engage in the urban combat sh*t show gta has become. In other words, I would not spend muneh.

In T2's eyes, if you're a freeloader, you are scum. R* is pushing you to play the game in the direction that they orchestrate for you. That means buying their paywall.

I have no doubt R* will carbon copy gta. In order to rob a bank, you need to buy some kind of property first.

He's learning the hard way that games that aren't fun don't do so well.

This glitch was for all the players who lost countless dollars due to x2001006 disconnects, despawns, and griefers camped near the butcher.  The score is even now.

Nah, that's like saying because the bank messed up your monthly statement, it's cool to counterfit money. Problem is, that it could affect EVERYBODY.

Yea, but it won‘t. People usually overestimate glitches.

Casual gamers who don‘t follow games on social media/forums/elsewhere won‘t even notice these exist. And I‘m guessing casual gamers make up at least 80-90% of the playerbase.

And from the rest not everybody does glitches. How many people do glitches? 5%? Not even. A lot of players don‘t even know or can‘t even find the option to toggle controls in the ingame menu.

That‘s the reason why R* never gave a sh*t with GTA and most likely won‘t give a sh*t about glitches in RDO.

I mean I‘ve been doing all the glitches in GTA i could find. Starting from elegy dupes, over frozen money / sp2mp glitches, up to teleport and director mode to online.  Having almost 1 billion and guess what? Nobody ever gave a sh*t and I made GTA$ worth 28k with sharkcards.

People spending money on microtransactions are compensating glitchers so easily, it‘s naive to think that glitches would harm their business.

To most companies, loss is loss & is unacceptable where profits are concerned. But I have to admit, I don't know anyone at R*, & am no business expert.

It‘s no loss if the target group in question won‘t buy microtransactions anyway.

And if they do buy MT, it‘s one more reason for them to not care about it.

Never was a fan of MT. I always had a feeling it was a slippery slope, with an iceskate salesman at the top.

But in the end you‘re not wrong. We won‘t know what happens until it happens.

Might be that they are going a more strict schedule when it comes to glitching compared to GTA. However I doubt it! Glitching has always been a part of R*-games

I'm not sure this thing y'all are talking about is over. Just saw something strange at the BW butcher. I have no idea how it works.

I'll just say this, way too simple on PS4 and basically the guys doing it are in infinite passive/ghost then they dupe cougars or anything worth big bucks

So that explains the pile of cougars appearing and disappearing repeatedly with no sign of an active player. Someone is making a fortune.
