The official guide says that there's a follow-up event in case you lie and keep all the money to yourself, and there's exactly one youtube comment I've found where the person says he had it happen, but I didn't find a single screenshot or video showcasing it. So far, I've spent about 2 in-game weeks, traveled to a different state, caused some in-game 'fade-outs' via train travel and sleeping, completed a mission... Nothing. I've been trying to check Valentine mostly every night, the three locations where the initial Hotel Robbery (I think its actual official name is 'Town Robbery' though) event can spawn. Obviously, I also tried during the day, but not as much as I've ran around during nights. It seems I've exhausted all other random events in Valentine already, since nothing procs anymore, aside from Jon occasionally ranting in the bar. Can anyone confirm that this follow-up exists? Did the robbery, escaped with a bounty, paid it off (coz I can't be arsed with the hassle) then few days later I was just riding through Valentine by the house that is under construction and the guy who set up the robbery called me over, he was angry, I had the option to give him his cut of the money or not. Kirk Lazarus Posted March 1, 2019 Share Posted March 1, 2019 Not the topic of the Valentine Robbery, but on the topic of random town events... has anyone encountered the guy in Strawberry who's pissed off he was sold bogus Rhino Horn power for impotence? The salesman is hiding neck deep in the outhouse behind the Doctor's office spitting up piss. You can choose whether or not to reveal the guy to the first guy. Revealing him will have the salesman beaten to death by the first guy (still in the outhouse), giving you negative honor for allowing the death. Pretending you don't know where he is causes the first guy to stomp off. Going back to the outhouse guy... he thanks you, can't get out, then dies down in the crap. No negative honor. I've encountered the Strawberry outhouse guy twice. lol First time I outed him and wasn't pleased about the neg honour - so the second time I just ignored him :P I never did the hotel robbery. I vaguely recall having the guy call me over, but I assumed I was about to be robbed or something (as I've had happen in St Denis when someone asked me to follow them into a dark alley), so I ignored him I'll have to try and get it on my second playthrough.
