Does anyone have a link to the Broughy/flags submission I believe I read somewhere he made? I'd like to add that to the OP, in part to test out, in part because I believe it's a popular enough request to warrant a spot. I know not all agree or care about the flags, but I'm more adding a few popular basics in case and of course, it's not being done to 'force your hand' into requesting anything.

Don't ask, don't get. At least that's how I see it. It's no real skin of my nose to try at least. I agree, the last 5+ years of 'Mouth off' or whatever have proven pretty useless, but that Jester Classic got pulled fairly recently too. Worth a shot. :)

Hi, I'm writing to express my concern over the performance of certain vehicles in GTA Online and my wish to see things change regarding them.

When the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series DLC arrived to the GTA Online world in March 2018, a new breed of vehicles came with it. These vehicles were different than cars from the previous four and a half years because they featured a new line in their handling files (the files that are used to govern & program how cars perform), namely "strAdvancedFlags".

There are multiple versions of values for the "strAdvancedFlags" line, and 36 vehicles from the previous three GTA Online DLCs contain one of these values under that heading: D0000, F0000, 100000, 2F0000, 6F0000, 40000 & 2000000.

Any car that has one of these values attached to it via the "strAdvancedFlags" line exhibits characteristics that are very much not desirable. Most give the car very strange engine physics in which the gears are slow to change up, and the engine will bounce off the rev limiter for a number of seconds before changing gear. And all of them make the car have very bouncy and unpredictable suspension, causing a terrible driving experience over the many bumps of Los Santos and Blaine County.

The community has been able to use various methods, such as mods in single player, to test what these vehicles would be like with this single value removed, and they are invariably a better driving experience. This is most noticeable with the recently introduced Itali GTO which has incredibly bouncy suspension under normal circumstances, but once the "strAdvancedFlags" value is deleted from its handling file it immediately becomes much nicer without changing anything else about the car.

I would like to officially express my unhappiness that multi-million dollar vehicles in GTA act in such a way, and request that these "strAdvancedFlags" values are removed from the 36 cars that have them (listed below), in addition to not being included in any future vehicle releases.

These flags make for an invariably worse driving experience that is unpredictable, unpleasant, and not fit for million dollar vehicles in GTA Online. I at least request that they be looked into further.

Casino, if you can have a roulette wheel in arena wars where you can spend gta dollars you can buy with real money to try your luck... its no reason they cant add the casino. its the same thing. 🙃

Remove the orbital cannon, or remove the auto-targeting and just have it manually aimed. Too extreme? Probably, but they're asking what we genuinely think, so there it is. At the very, very least - fix it so you have to pay to shoot it.

 

That sh*tty, annoying engine smoke thing on helicopters. My Hunter is supposed to take 7 explosive sniper shots before blowing up. Instead it takes 1, and then engine smoke does the rest. Doesn't even matter where it's shot too - can be shot on the tail, or the landing gear, and both engines just mystically start smoking. Really lame.

 

 

Add better cooldowns on passive mode.

 

Remove buying ammo from the interaction menu.

 

Add a cooldown on spawning the broomstick.

 

Classify the broomstick mk2 as an aircraft - if it gets aircraft countermeasures, it can share our clunky spawn system. We have an actual cooldown, have to go to specific areas to collect. These can do the same too.

 

Moving while sniping - ditch that.

 

Put an option in the pause menu to toggle pitch stabilization off on helicopters. That would look like this.

 

 

Add more RC vehicles. RC helicopters, planes, tanks, etc.

 

Add more to hangar customization - more options, more weapons, more space.

 

Add a MKII Savage.

 

Fully prepared to see not a single one of these make it into the game lol. But they're asking what I think, so there it is.

@Happy Hunter I feel like remove buying explosive (heavy in-game) ammo from the interaction menu is a better deal, buying ammo without going to the store is very handy, but if we remove only the explosive one, the problem is solved. 

A sugestion i have that is really cool and maybe someone will like it: Transforming the revolter into a middle term between the nightshark and the executive armored cars. The revolter is already big and bulky, ram traffic like no other car, has a sh1t ton of torque and is awd. It has everything to be the ultimate executive mobile, with armor to hold 7 rpg and 15 homing. Taking into account that the car is significantly faster than the nightshark, i think these numbers are decent. 

This armor would make it a good deal to collecting cargo and going from point a to b in general. And would also justify the 1.6 million price (remember menacer costs 1.8 million and has a minigun on top)

So, I would like to ask you to pay close attention to 2 things in GTA Online in free mode:
The 1st one is the traffic. The game is more than 5 years old, we had more than a dozen dlcs with more than 100 new vehicles. Would be awesome to update city and countryside traffic with them and to get a new experience from the game. 
The second one is the weather. You may think that everything is fine but no. Rain drops every 2nd day in the morning, mostly at 07:00 or so. For the 5 years of playing it's really annoying. May we ask about fixing it in timesyc.dat file, please? Meanwhile, we never had rainy weather in the night, so it would be nice if you would change the rainy time from 7:00 to 23:00.

Good catch, I didn't noticed that at first.

 

So it does seems like this is best time for we to be heard, I need to make it count.

 

REMOVE BOTH OPPRESSORS FROM THE MC SPAWN MENU.

 

This is my current priority now because of the sheer amount of these cancerous bikes in the game thanks to Lester's glitch, advanced handling flags and the Comet Classics can wait a little more.

Just a minor and personal one, but just submitted feedback on the Nightshark's side window armour plating not functioning as it should.  Bullets just go right through them.  Front and rear ones work as intended.  And the side ones aren't as designed, because even though they don't work, they still prevent you from using your own weapons.

The rear one doesnt work as well, go on a auto aim lobby and you will see

Rear one does.  You're probably getting shot out of the rear-side windows as being at even slightly the wrong angle will finish you off.

 

Also, I don't play auto aim.  Stick to free aim.  None of that laser-precision Fisher Price nonsense.

Lol I had this today.  Was in Contact Missions and playing well, not hogging the kills but just playing along and ensuring objectives were completed.  Then for no reason the host decided to run me over, killing me, and then next round kicked me.

 

I asked why but got a "Haha" response.  Obviously someone who's balls haven't dropped yet.

And pls don't come up with "that would defeat the point of Freemode Work" because R* themselves defeated said point by refusing to balance the game, to give a real incentive for teamwork and to curb griefing and toxicity.

 

Friendly crews and abuse of the kick function exists for a reason.

I agree with the sentiments from both sides of the "stop unfounded kicking/open businesses to all lobbies" debate.

 

For one, engaging in PvP during modes shouldn't be justification to have that person kicked from the session. I've had this happen to me just because I joined a session dominated by a crew before being able to leave and also because I took event cargo from someone else. I don't care which side of the fence you belong to, both situations were unjustified. Also, if you plan to initiate VIP/CEO jobs like Headhunter in a public lobby and expect to be left alone, you're in for a rude awakening. Friend/crew/invite lobbies exist for a reason - please use those.

 

But that also brings me to the "businesses everywhere" crowd. Spending several hours and cash gathering crates/supplies/cars, only to have that destroyed by some asshole with nothing better to do at the click of a button is not fair. Many times, the people that do that have unlimited funds themselves and won't have to put in the work to achieve what the business owner was trying to. Also, some of these businesses already have enough NPC hindering to add to the mindnumbing task of supply gathering. Open these everywhere, and then people will have a say in if they want to have player opposition or not.

 

It's a simple solution that would bring the end to a lot of complaints and all sorts of excuses thrown around. It needs to happen, in my opinion.

There's no doubt in my mind lobby choice on businesses would reduce the vote kick issues out there. Fully agree with you and @Volganor above.

 

That said, I do believe @Big Molio is more referring to races and such there too. Not to put words in his mouth of course as I am just assuming (Apologies if I came across like so there Big Molio). But seen him mention this often more in relation to racing and we know first hand that once we get to a high level it can be a real pain when all we wanna do is play a mode.

 

Was thinking a 'businesses in all sessions' submission in the OP would be another very popular choice too. :)

I requested two new arena types; snowy with in-door snowfall (this would have weaponized snow vehicles like a snowplough and snowmobile; an underwater arena that has weaponized submersibles. I also requested that the SSASSS vehicles have their handling flag value switched to 40000 and that all future cars have the 40000 value as well.

More options in general to streamline my playing experience.:monocle:

 

The phone calls have been mentioned repeatedly on a number of threads, usually the B&M, but the assistant in the office hasn't been mentioned in a while. They need to stop talking, especially when buying snacks. I actually mute my TV when I'm there, I genuinely can't stand them. The Facility receptionist doesn't annoy me with drivel so why does the assistant?

 

The mechanic needs to be fired, just remove him from the game and remove the "too far from suitable road" crap. Replace 'Mechanic' with 'Garages' on the phone, simple.

 

Not being able to use the phone while driving the Bandito is annoying as hell. I actually want to see the hate mail in that thing while I'm driving it not afterwards. Remove the options that would make it a WMD like Merryweather airstrikes obviously, funny as they would be.:colgate:
