GTA:O feedback: What are you wanting? Spread the word!

Feedback is now welcomed for GTA:O, and thought a thread where we can share what we're sending these guys. After all, the best way to get something noticed is to have others share a similar request and see something requested more often.

 

Could be good to learn what folk want and to help our fellow forum users spread the word. Can only hope they mean to be open to ideas, so...

 

What are you requesting/suggesting?

 

Maps, casino, QoL updates, cars/bikes/aircraft, clothing, nerfs/buffs. Anything could happen now. Here's the link below, just in case.

*If people would like to upload a copy of any submissions to R* to make it easier for folk to copy/paste those, certainly could prove even more useful to many - Caution to not post personal details.

Hi, I'm writing to express my concern over the performance of certain vehicles in GTA Online and my wish to see things change regarding them.

 

These flags make for an invariably worse driving experience that is unpredictable, unpleasant, and not fit for million dollar vehicles in GTA Online. I at least request that they be looked into further.

Removal of the advanced stupidity flags or at least adjust them so cars handle more like the D8.

 

Add so we can have crew colours in matte and worn texture, Benny’s wheels on all vehicles (on the fence with this one since I have quite a few  vehicles with this now ) or maybe stop patching harmless glitches that allows this 

 

Allow us to buy Lost Slamvan 

 

Would like my trashman and police outfit back

What I would love, is a Superbike that actually sounds like a Superbike instead of the whiny hairdryer crap we've got.

Plenty for me to try with...

 

*Lobby choice for businesses. (MTU/crew sessions don't seem to hurt card sales, lol. I'd say with greater choice, they'd sell better, IMHO).

*Phone calls to be only for the week a DLC arrives otherwise let us figure it all out beyond then, shut LJT up!

*These handling flags addressed.

*Vehicle rebalancing for races, and one make race options. (Be nice to see a more varied grid).

*Catch up off as default.

*More focus on street races, new tracks and 2x to bring attention.

*Garage/hanger space caps removed/greatly increased - I'd buy all properties if I could, but no nagging those that opt not to.

*Weaponised vehicles to be unable to go passive.

*Gambling at the casino.

*AP rank readjustment or offer a greater amount. Rank 1000 at 100AP max per event is extreme.

*Map expansion would be the dream, but at least open up North Yankton - Snow racing, yeah!

 

Lots of cars to be I'd like added, an Xr3i would top that list. More of it all really. Seems I'll be busy trying.

5) (and this is for everyone else, it wouldn't affect me) remove the OpMkII's ability to lock on to other players

I've said before removing weapons from it entirely would fix the problem, but that also hampers using for PvE, so the ability to auto target players is really the issue.

We can all agree that to hit any fast moving target using free aim will require quite a bit of skill, I propose that the MkII's use as a griefing tool be nerfed to require a player to be talented instead of merely having enough glitch money to afford said thorn in any lobby's side.

You want to terrorize freeroam learn to play first. In other words 'git gud', f*ckers! 

 

disclaimer: I play solo on PC exclusively, so this isn't some knee jerk reaction to being blown up by the flood of  nouveau riche MkII owners after the airport glitch, it doesn't affect me one way or another, but it's universally agreed that the MkII is the bane of freeroam, and now very much more plentiful.

I like it for doing jobs, but I could get along well enough without it entirely or even unarmed.

People i understand you have a lot of ideas and you have the platform to talk about them but you cant ask for eggs to a cow. What i mean is try to ask for smaller things, they are the most prone to be attended. Someone here said a map expansion, that wouldnt happen in 2014 and even less nowadays. Being able to customize all pegasus vehicles also wont happen, you can ask for whatever you want, i am not trying to mandate anything, but lets be more realistic. 

Coming to my list so far:

1. Buzzard level tracking in the opressor mk2

2. Menacer with insurgent armor, with mines and being able to tow AA trailer 

3. Use the ardent in races

4. Finalize the spoiler in the Adder (lets be real is almost done)

5. Add more customization to old cars like they did with the prairie and the futo

6. Ruiner 2000 armor boost and 30 missiles

Penalties for dieing on high tech vehiclea involving 15 minute and above cool die if you suicide. Even recovery missions beyond police impound. Such vehicles.. Require tine to get back/rebuild. Mostlt goes for mk2, deluxo,... Things Irl would take a minute ya know.. 

 

And if people under like 16yrs old cant play the game would be fcking great...

Wanted to make a similar thread with a concept:

We will monitor the thread, and search for the most voted and wise explained ideas, and pin them in 1st post under the spoilers, so people could copy the idea and send it to R*.
What is the point? Petitions don't work and nobody in R* care about them. They make the statistics and wise analysis from the feedback messages. And then R* create the most requested content. That's why would be cool to be organized and send R* plural messages to be mentioned...

Or, this thread will become 1:1 to wishlist thread 

As for my personal wishes in a few words:

1)fixing handling flags
2)adding new wheel pack
3)bringing a civilian version of Streiter, Comet classic, non-armored zr380;
4)casino heist, casino games, casino
5)free mode activities with friends as bowling, air hockey, pool, etc.
6)map expansion: LC or North Yankton
7)monthly new cars
8)weather update with fixing annoying daily raining
9)updated traffic with released vehicles
10)new male and female hairstyles, animations

allow players to do business with eachother, with this i mean that if i have a warehouse but dont have to time to grind crates or any other business cargo, i could simply get in contact with some player CEO, negotiate a price and buy my stock from them, this would not only encourage players to work together but could help build business partnerships while also giving meaning to the whole "ceo" title, in the current state we are not CEOs, we are mere errant boys, always working for someone else.

Liked the idea, taking the most popular requests is pretty simple and would help the community a lot. 

I also loved the idea of increasing the number of vehicles which spawn in the world. We need more traffic varety, and i dont see why having a vamos,GTX, tulip, streiter or neon in the street would make less people buy them, it might generate the opposite effect to be honest.

I didn't think of that,  to update the OP. Though it soon could become a huge original post, lol. So many ideas and personal preferences out there.

 

To be honest, I'm not too good at that sort of thing so maybe folk could post copies of their requests they sent (hiding personal details of course) as an alternative? (I'll gladly mention this idea/aspect to the OP to let folk know it could help). But also, if we all send the same request for, say lobby access to businesses for example, it would be easier for R* to auto ignore based off of keywords too. Just thinking out loud there. 

 

If that's not ideal, I'm not against this being closed and you/someone else starting a similar thread with what you suggested to do in the OP of that.

If the next GTA is years away, and if RDR2 pre release news was true, it is. If R* want to flog this horse for a few more years, it could happen. Slim chance, but worth a shot, IMO.

No need to pin everything) Only well-made posts. I believe such posts won't be ignored by people and will be well voted.

Great idea, tbh. Making a list of well-made wishes with links to original posts. Saves time and makes OP cleaner.

Dude, you can't tell people how to want things, or what they should want, so don't try.  If you think their ideas are too big then just ignore them.  If you think their ideas won't be implemented then just ignore them.

 

If I want them to change it so every day has a Vanilla Sky then I'll ask for that, with or without your consent.

 

I just want a tonne more regular vehicles - cars, bikes, boats etc..  I'd also like to see more partially competitive, but mainly fun games, like go-karting.

 

And realistic steak.

I think you misunderstood my point. I am not saying "you cant wish something" i am saying that smaller ideas have more chance of being implemented and even listened in the first place, so if we focus on them the chance of everyone being listended is higher. The devs wont do anything that need complex solutions

-allow Pegasus aircrafts in Dispatch missions(meme vehicles and personal aircrafts are allowed but not Pegasus..., and you get infinite loading when trying to request Buzzard/Savage from office).

 

-remove all artificial restrictions that prevent Cargobob from lifting Special Cargo vans and other mission-vehicles.

 

-delete invisible barrier that prevents players from introducing vehicles inside Cargobob bay(mainly bikes from MC deliveries but not only, just remove it.period). 

 

-definitely fix the helicopter co-pilot bug: during VIP jobs and MC contracts the co-pilot and passengers get kicked from the aircraft for no reason(I may later make a video of it, but pretty sure someone already recorded it). Super irritating bug, pls fix it.
