Vehicle proximity mines on heists

I did rescue agent 14, I used my insurgent pick-up custom and surprise surprise, the proxy mines worked. Random bug? gonna try and see if I can join other randoms heists and try again.

I noticed this too, this week. Could have sworn the mines were disabled before but they work now.

They were disabled also in contact missions, so far 5 out of 5, are working in doomsday heists.

 

I hope is not a mistake and an actual change. Half-track in reverse is bulletproof, plus now the don't activate until you go away, so you can't blow yourself up (like did so many times with the tampa 🤣).

Its intended to work, before they were also disabled in old heists. Now you can use it in PS Hack or Convoy setups e.g.

I don't know if was intended or not, not trying to disrespect, but it was released on June 2017 (if not mistaking), and the mines, wasn't working a long time after the release of the DLC (still can't use the APC either). Hey, I'm not complaining, I'm glad that they are working now, about damn time. Still need to try on contact missions, I'm gonna do it today. BTW, I got the mines since day one, I pay for all the research on first character, took R* a pretty long time to either fix it or change it, but like I said, is a positive thing.

Maybe they where disabled back then so randoms don´t blow themselves up. With the new safety mechanic, they just made them useable.

Prox mines work in contact missions and heists, Arena War mines do not (but other weapons on them do).

I blew myself up so many times with the tampa the first days the dlc was out. Took them long time to fix it, but is really great, mostly when you are getting to the final checkpoint and you have NPCs chasing you.
