Ambitious Dave
Does anyone know where little brown bats are? What about skunks? The Read Dead Redemption 2 spawn maps don't seem to be accurate regarding the spawns for the online mode. U Carmine and Ronin Ogami

Wickahoney
Bats can be found in the swamps at night. The marsh north of Saint Denis is a good spot. If you use Eagle Eye it will highlight their trails in the sky. U Carmine, Rafae S and Ambitious Dave
Ronin Ogami
You can find the brown bats in a cave near Elysian Pool. Explore the cave, they should spawn on the way back out. I need help with the skunks . . . One to go, none in sight. >.< Edit: lucked out & ran over one ^.^ Edited February 27, 2019 by Ronin Ogami found one Ambitious Dave and Rafae S
ThaBirdCoot
Bats are flying in many parts of Lemoyne, but also spawn near Braitwaithe Manor and the surrounding fields at night. You will likely hear them but they are small so look up in the skies ! For skunks you could try looking around the Scarlett Meadows area or maybe up north in the nearby woods near MacLean's House in Raonoke ridge. You will also find skunks in some parts of the desert in New Austin, at night, late evening. Day time and night time. Couldn't find 'em even though I looked both locations, several times. I tried changing sessions but no luck. But lemoyne at night time does seem to work. I got 2 bats shot down and it became day time. It shouldn't be hard to find one more.
DarksunDaFirst
Easiest place to find bats that I've found is the Manor in Lemoyne. They fly around trees at night...go up on the balcony, use paint it black, and small game arrows. Use your hunter vision or whatever and look for their trails. They're bit more erratic than smaller birds. Edited February 27, 2019 by DarksunDaFirst

Pumpkin Zone
Go to Elysian Pool, in the northern part of it, under the waterfall you can find a cave. Go inside the cave all the way in until you're in the main area of the cave. Go back out and usually 2 bats will spawn coming into the cave entrance, smack their head on the ceiling, and fall to the ground dead. You can then pick them up for the challenge. I had to load into a new server to get my last of the three, doing the same steps as above. Ryan5252
I got the bats earlier in the bayou, I've seen them plenty of times while hunting. Skunks I've also encountered in the bayou but not very often. If anyone knows where else to find them?
jazzbone
Last night i found Striped Skunks on the islands west of Rhodes. The first on the north island and the second on 2 islands south of the north island. Hunt at night, and on your horse. Ducks are plentiful here, but not the skunks. jazzbone
@ Ektope To clarify. Overall i found those island to have lots of ducks while, in contrast, the Stripded Skunks are few.
