Arthur Marston
The title says it all really. Do any of you guys think that the RDR2 single player desperately needs a hard difficulty? Or better yet, custom difficulty? Especially in the epilogue, it feels like hunting, combat, etc. gets stupid easy, especially since you've probably maxed your health, stamina, and dead-eye. Let me know what you guys think! lndex

Sonny_Black
Definitely. In the mean time, I turned off the hud, music, auto-aim, do not use tonics etc, don't dual wield and use heavy weapons such as the shotguns only in last resort or for heavy and dangerous target. That's the best we can do for now and mostly, for ever. Edited February 27, 2019 by 0223998743 Arthur Marston

Alot of games released these days come with new game +, why not this one. a bit off topic, I think a day/night cycle time modifier would be great for a hardcore mode. Its too short atm, would be cool to have like a 2 or 3 hour cycle. Arthur Marston
Jimbatron
I think the best way to get close to this is to turn the HUD off and don't pay off your bounties.
Adamska_
Difficulty modes are rather pointless when you can just simply abuse dead eye tbh. But what's even more annoying are bullet holes on my hat that will simply stay there until I re-load or spend a night in jail. Hence, I will always resort to dead-eye to avoid bullet holes on my hat. BoulderFaceplant
Yet another reason I’m hoping for a RDR remake. That game would be tough as nails with the RDR2 combat system.
