ghostsoap01 Posted March 23, 2019 Share Posted March 23, 2019 I haven't read through the whole thread, so this may already have been mentioned, but I was just told to fight off bounty hunters for my bounty of 0$. It was quite a big wave too, at least 20 of them coming in waves of 3 at a time. Then I had to escape from a huge radius on the map. I think the game pretty much gave me the maximum level of bounty hunters coming after me, for a 0$ bounty. Just like MTU, that's an exploit, though plenty of exploits involve bugs of course. Not like it matters I guess, people use the word glitch in place of exploit regularly now, just look up "money glitch" on youtube lol. Also would you mind explaining more about this story mission issue you're referencing? I only ask cause I hadn't heard of it yet and haven't experienced the effects of it myself but I had read of the people having issues with getting into missions. Just curious is all. In fact I started Love and Honor today and got stuck with the counter not starting. I surely wasn't using exploits or glitches, just a guy stuck in a dead lobby. Sorry it took me so long... yes you‘re right it‘s important to differ between gltch/bug/exploit, and the mtu one in gta is definitely an exploit. However the solo lobby method for RDO using story missions is a glitch. iirc you‘re in the job lobby and right before the moment it loads you in the session you’re interrupting the loading process by joining a friend via ps menu or sth? I dont know exactly how it’s done and can‘t find the thread anymore. Maybe it was the other way around, like join a friend through ps menu, start mission and do sth with the alerts in the right timing. If I find it again, I can link it to you if you like. What it does is that you‘re loading into the session, which is reserved for the story mission (=empty), but in freeroam and the game thinks you‘re still in the story lobby. That‘s why people quick joining story missions will get dragged into lobbies with the timer greyed out. These jobs will never start. There is/was a glitch where you use Story missions to make a solo lobby, it's possibly the reason behind the timer not working in mission lobby screens. So we're not going to get xp and gold anymore unless we do all the objectives? I never do them all, because I don't like R* telling me I have to kill players.
