Sign Up: email rejected !! (not allowed to use that email address)

My attempt to "Sign Up" is being rejected for the following reason displayed:

          "You are not allowed to use that email address on this site."

 

That applied to 2 different email addresses of mine.

 

** Why would my emails not be allowed ?? **

 

I am going to guess it's because those were stolen and then used in spamming or some other undesirable activity, resulting in a rejection by GTAF.

 

Finally I was successful in signing up using a gmail.com email account (which I hate using, btw, & would like to switch from).

I guess it's for prevention of anonymous spam not allowing new members to register using freemail accounts, but you can try messaging an administrator with the email account that you would like your profile to use.
