I don't think it means you can carry more heron plumes, for instance, as that's your own personal satchel on your body. 4eyedcoupe Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 As far as I know, and I haven't played today after the update, they are only suppose to carry more outfits and hats then the regular. 3 on regular, 5 on upgraded. Unfortunately all special saddles are lvl 89 or so to 96. i read somewhere else that the 2 extra slots for outfits are for the bought outfits, not for custom ones.. which is bullsh*t imo. For $80, I should be able to hold much more on my horse. Instead of 10 pelts, I should be able to hold double. Why cant I hold more in my satchel? SP can pretty much hold quite a bit. Not saying I need to hold 999 animal fat, but certainly more than 10. Double or triple the amount of herbs would be more of an incentive to upgrade. I really dont know what R* is thinking. For the Saddlebags, it is kinda... dumb it's really for just outfits. Maybe it'll get more features as the game fleshes out? I'd almost bet satchels are in the pipeline. Foxwolfe Posted March 22, 2019 Share Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) Yeah whether it's a bug or not atm the extra two outfits they let you carry have to be pre built (bought) outfits, such as the grizzlies outlaw for example. To top it off now if we make a custom outfit incorporating pieces from a bought outfit (take the dark red vest from the grizzlies outlaw) it will bork our other outfits and they won't be on the horse anymore (they'll still be in the wardrobe at least). You'll have to hit up a wardrobe to delete the broken outfit and then put your other outfits back on the horse. Ok I take that last bit back, I just realized they finally fixed is so the individual items do show up in your wardrobe now, maybe that's why it borks things because at this point that's an exploit of sorts (and for note that doesn't mean it's negative, just that at the time you were using an unintended way to access those clothing items) so it fully breaks things now that you can do it the correct way? Who knows either way I'm just glad it works the right way now, confused me for a second seeing a * icon next to the neckwear category when I hadn't bought any non bandana neckwear in at least a month lol. But yeah now I can access all of the grizzlies outlaw items individually in their respective categories. (including the gun belt/offhand, nice!). This is what I did, I went to the tailor, browsed outfits in the catalogue, equipped ultimate edition outfits, once equipped while still in the catalogue I removed the gloves.
