Should i buy an office?

Endjinn isn’t wrong about the bunker being a good starting point, just about which bunker to buy.    That’s been covered.   As for the office, which of course is what the OP was asking about, yes, it’s certainly “worth it.”      Location is everything in this game, and if you lay out a plan for your properties ahead of time you save yourself a lot of grief and GTA$.

Personally, i like the Maze Bank location, and i like the lower rooftop.    I have my NC right there, my MC club just around the corner, the bunker and the facility and the hangar just up the coast in Chumash, etc.     I arrived at that conclusion—shocker—by going through a few characters and learning the hard way.

I’m done with that, as my dude and my gal have almost 1000 levels between them.   Just spent the past month or so helping a buddy start from scratch, though, and now he’s almost level 160 just raking in the money.   Stupid fast, how quick he’s leveling up at this point.

The office and the special cargo warehouse are definitely good for lower-level profits, and seem to be one of the most common things to go on 2X for the weekly promotions.     As with everything else, waiting for them to be on sale never hurts, either.

Yeah, going back to OP. Office is definitely worth it. I love cars and have my best 50 or so there. Lombank west for the beach views, nightclub just 3 blocks south del perro, access up highway for Chumash bunker/zancudo hangar and facility. Free snacks, money safe, gun locker. Just wish someone would clean up the mess. I would pay for a housekeeper.

I'm not sure if OP is still looking at this thread, but in case you don't know, there is a discount on Offices this week until Thursday. If you're still looking, now would be the time to buy, unless you want to take the Nightclub route first, 30% off on those too.

Is there any difference between the cheap office and the most expensive?

Inside they are all the same except the views out the windows.

Lombank has the best helipad.

Maze West (cheapest) is decent.

Maze Tower (most expensive) I've heard has bad spawns, but maybe that has been fixed. I've also heard players complain they don't like the climb when flying to the helipad. Takes too long. Leaving though I would think would be much better if going to your bunker or facility.

I own Arcadius and I like it. It's central and look the coolest on the outside.

Arcadius is an interesting one, since its dead opposite my apt, but i probably wont be buying it, location isnt that important, since driving is fun, and as you say all the office interiors are the same, i can guess the nice round garage space is beneath the ground?

It's above ground somewhere because it has windows and looks down on the city.

I have an Integrity Way apartment. If you have an uncompleted heist, Lester will send you heist invites all the time to finish it. You can open it and it takes you back to the apartment. Then cancel the heist immediately and presto, a short walk to arcadius. I've been doing that for a long time to "warp" back to my office.

Nice tip, i haven't been able to complete the Prison Break yet, mostly because no one knows how to actually play the game properly

If I had my time again (or a third character), the Integrity Way/Arcadius combo is what I'd go for, simply because of how easy it would make grinding. As it is, I'm loath to leave Lombank because the of the beach views and easy helipad access, and Maze Tower because...well, it's Maze Tower. All those years spent dicking around on the helipad, it's nice to have something useful inside it, although it's ridiculously overpriced, takes ages to climb up to, and has poor road access.

Anyway, you're poor and still need to replace that sh*tty bunker, so don't by any new businesses unless they are on sale. Offices are, so hey...

Nightclub is not worth it unless you have almost all of the other businesses, and you're a long way from being able to afford that.

if you're low on funds, get the cheaper one. keep in mind that you'll have to spend some extra cash on the crate warehouses and i/e warehouse if thats what you're going for. you can always upgrade your office once you have some spare cash

An Office garage?

I wouldn't bother tbh. (You will already have an assistant with the office).

You could buy a Nightclub with extra garage space for the same price. That's where you can buy employees to do the work for you. You get the first technician for free. Get him to collect Sporting Goods; that's bunker supplies.

The office is almost worthless, you have to purchase more (buildings) to make it work. Like a warehouse get cars to sell, creates to gather, drugs, etc. And if you like playing online with others, ceo can force you to not be allowed to run in passive mode. aka player vs cheater on a flying dildo. Seems the night club does the same. Private servers can avoid that but not as much fun having others around.

Some suggest clubhouse is good if you have a lot of friends. Bunker I don't know. Thinking of looking into what that would involve.

Very true, but you need to buy more than just an office (warehouse) to start racking in the money.

WRONG. Absolutely wrong. Very bad advice. As soon as someone begins to mention flying vehicles or cheaters, ignore and move on, first of all.

Second of all, office is far from worthless. It will likely be your first option to have a place to refill ALL your snacks for free, AND you will be able to summon your vehicles even if they're stored elsewhere. And along with being a possible spawn point, your office is extremely useful even before you buy the warehouses. Besides if you can afford Maze Bank office - the best one - you will be able to afford warehouses very soon after.

Thirdly, Clubhouse is probably the WORST choice money-wise compared to bunker and office. BUNKER and OFFICE should be your first property purchases no matter what. If you have a couple friends at the very least, you'll become a high roller in a week. Once you understand the mechanics of bunker and office, you'll be raking in some serious cash daily.

First you get the bunker and office in no particular order, then you get the funds, then you get the nightclub... Once you understand the mechanics of the bunker, THEN you either buy your nightclub first if you wanna show off to your friends, or get the MC clubhouse and 7 businesses associated with it. After you have your 7 MC businesses and nightclub, you get your nightclub technicians to start working for you, and you're living the dream pulling in at least a million a day kid

I have been running biker biz for a few weeks now...after x2 biker week i had $9.5M

This week i decided to get into CEO...so far I've invested about $9M and have only recouped about $2....maybe i should've waited to buy special cargo warehouses...i bought a medium then filled it...payoff was good so i bought a large...then read a small was good for rare cargo...so i bought one of those too (but i havent had the chance to source one yet) .... also upgraded my delivery vehicles

But i did manage to source all mid and std cars so the rest should be profit

If there was an option to remove all the clutter, the Millions of Dollars carelessly spread across the floor, I think everyone would be happy.

Having crap all over the place takes the pleasant experience of having an office to be honest.

As someone said, didn't we get a warehouse to avoid having all this contraband lying around?

Other than the f*cking Indonesian flatscreens, I quite like it.

For me it's the stupid Impotent Rage dolls, medical supplies, gun crates, and tobacco.

Even the bullion doesn't look appealing.

======================================

Folks just have to realize that it takes a bit of time before these things pay for themselves, but they do if you put in the time to play the jobs they offer.

An office is a necessity if you want to make any big amount of money in a reasonable time frame.

Of course it's slow at the start, but later, when you're all set up to take advantage of bonus weeks, the money accumulates pretty fast.

I'd include the bunker, MC clubhouse, the hangar, and at least the three best MC businesses, and then the nightclub and TerrorByte as necessities for anyone serious about grinding.

And yes, I do know fully how expensive the paywall is, I started my second character solely for the purpose of exploiting the nightclub and all it's attendant businesses, and she started with literally nothing, she did not exist before the After Hours update dropped, so I had to buy everything including vehicles.

All that expenditure has more than paid for itself, actually it's generated 10 times the amount I spent on the whole outfit so far.

There are plenty of guides on youtube covering these in great detail.

I never bought a special cargo warehouse.  Just a vehicle warehouse.  Doing quite fine without crates.  Coming up on 140 mill in the bank and my office is immaculate.  No money lying around.  No clutter.

Bunker ($40+ mil sales) and nightclub ($18m) have been the most profitable enterprises for me. Vehicle Warehouse is 3rd. Only broke even or a little better on CEO crates and hangar and MC counterfeit.

Made a lot of money grinding Act3 with my buddy; we can do prep+setups and finale under 3 hours.

So yes, buy that CEO office. It has other perks too.

I have the ceo and vehicle warehouse. People made it sound like a crap load of money will be made, but really it makes LESS money per minute then running dispatch missions. And you can't sell cars back to back, there is a wait period. Bunker is far less then that, but it's more passive. wait 2 1/2 hours then one run. And again, YOU ARE FORCED TO PLAY ON A PUBLIC SESSION aka cheaters and flying dildos. I did get my session to kick everyone, but when playing, a pk'er flying dildo got on and killed me just because he could. ZERO defense against it. And again, the office is WORTHLESS unless you get a warehouse, bunker, etc to make money with. It doesn't magically make money on its own. For the rich, you can request expensive special vehicles you own.

There are ways around the public session thing; have you tried lowering your MTU? I cannot stand and refuse to play in populated sessions, so this is the method that I always use; I can be in a lobby for hours and hours and no one will ever randomly join it.

In my opinion, I/E is often a bit more time, work, and effort if you're running strictly solo, but it works best after you've got to the point where you're only sourcing high end cars. However, once you get the bunker bought and have the entire team dedicated to production, it's easy money and will pay for itself whilst you're doing whatever else waiting for it to fill enough for a sale.

True, just having the office doesn't necessarily make money on its own per say, but it opens up the ability to run the VIP jobs, challenges, etc which can generate some additional funds.
