Her blip on radar don't dissapear, mission won't start, after i go away just a little yellow icon with up-hands person just reappear. Assblaster Posted February 28, 2019 Share Posted February 28, 2019 Limiting us to 1 lootable item per location per day (if that's what it is, could be longer, I don't know yet) is a slimeball move, as is the hunting nerf. Then there's the many daily objectives (more than we had to do in GTAO to get the reward for doing them all) = more grind (some of those impossible to even do). And if you kill & loot NPCs, you got yourself a bounty so you can't even loot NPCs anymore (for the measly few cents we used to get). The grind to get money & level is way worse than GTAO, and more boring (with far fewer ways to gain money/xp than that game has). The lack of content is shameful after so long. (E.g. 39 or so unlockable hats in SP, and few if any of those really cool hats are available for purchase in RDO!) What they do offer is mostly level-locked (unless you pay in gold -- and lots of it). I love the new blip system, I can go through towns now and pretty much know what to expect. I've never felt more at ease, less paranoid, than I do now with the new blip system; but self-defense should not be penalized. What they fail to realize is that this is supposed to be a game, not frustrating work; and above all, games are supposed to be fun. Lack of content; lack of rewards; lack of money; and a more excruciating grind than even GTA (and I thought that was bad). All of this adds up to a supreme lack of fun. I'm an ardent fan of the genre, so I'm not quitting. But I'm afraid this very poor (and very greedy) game design will only force people away in droves. They need a change of leadership and quick -- or whatever it takes to fix this mess of a game. It's disappointing and sad to see, after having such high hopes. Seems like a good result for 4 months of a beta. Personally I'm ok with the game in its current state and still jump on daily to amass wealth and enjoy the world. As somewhat of a visionary and someone who is patient I don't need it to sate the same kind of rabid desire that the loud online minority has (and it is a minority as it is with all games where the silent majority just plays the game without forum/twitter/youtube comment participation) for the game to be fully fledged now. Generally I would be part of that majority and this update has offered a reminder as to why--namely the reeeeeeeeeeing, bitching and moaning, feelings of entitlement and unrealistic expectations that most who post online exhibit. Having said that, those are the sentiments of people who love the game and want it to be better as those who don't would simply just put the game down and go play something else. I'm glad I can call my horse near water, that camps spawn nearby and follow me and for a myriad other reasons. Conversely my beloved bison coat clips through my horse's sleeping mat and there are several other facets of the update that I'm not in full agreement with. Regardless, being part of the journey of a game's development is something I enjoy and living through the teething problems of developing games is part of the appreciation for me. Really though, for many I've seen online--put the game down and play something else for awhile if the current state sends you into a state of near anal prolapse.
