Same here. Years of GTAO have left me with an aversion to receiving PSN messages from randoms. I've happily traded the occasional funny hate mail for the peace of not receiving a sh*tty message every time I either defend myself or refuse to get dragged into a fight. I do miss the messages I use to get from players who recognised me from here though, I quite liked bumping into fellow forum members. Foxwolfe Posted April 20, 2019 Share Posted April 20, 2019 I don't get or send messages too often but last time I got one was when me and a buddy caught a dude driving the train and we hopped on to complete our shoot birds from moving train challenge on that particular day. At one point we rolled up to Bacchus station and a gang hideout popped, dude stopped so we could do the hideout then after we finished he started the train back up and rolled out (he didn't even get out of the conductor seat lol). Ghoffman9 Posted April 28, 2019 Share Posted April 28, 2019 The worst I got was a butthurt tryhard talking trash because of a player assassination mission I did not choose to become a part of. I evaded him and his posse and won. I figured that was it and went to my camp to do some crafting and regenerate my cores. This was back when you could still see where everyone was on the entire map. Little did I know but these butthurt little sh*ts followed me the whole way back to my camp and started firing their guns into the air. Clearly wanting me to enter into a 1 vs 4 fight, course I was not interested in indulging them in their petty pissing match, especially one where the odds are stacked against me. This was when one of them started sending me texts talking trash for circumstances that were beyond my control. I did not choose to become a target but I was not about to sit there and let them kill me either. Calling me a coward for refusing to fight when the odds were clearly stacked. I called them stupid to think I was dumb enough to put myself into that situation, telling them to grow up and stop being butthurt over something I had no control over and was not even interested in taking part in. I hate player assassination missions so much. I am not interested in PvP but there are times the game can be a dick and decide to put you right in the middle of a sh*t storm, it especially sucks if the players in question take it personal afterward like these guys did. I have not been selected since the changes where red players are targeted more often, but I heard there is still a chance for even blue players to be selected. Last time that happened to me some guy started attacking me for no reason and after I killed him 3 times he sent me a msg "cunt", like wtf you started this sh*t you idiot. I send a message to leader saying I wasn't sure why his boy killed me for no reason. Him: "You got too close when we were hunting a turtle he said." But honestly, I get kind of a bad vibe off that message. "How old are you?" Isn't that usually what horny younger boys ask girls (or people with female characters)? Why am I being asked that? Probably some kind of scam, think I'll ignore them. Or maybe it's someone who saw my channel. Or a girl trying to start something in the most awkward way possible. Ah, I don't like it.
