Beatrice Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 Hey there, I just decided to test something out of sheer curiosity, and made sure Jon fell asleep after his rant. I returned about a week later, and he was in a different spot - by the bar, talking about pissing and sh*tting inside, like 'real men'. This time I did aggro him though, but I started wondering - just how many possible encounters are there with him? I've tried checking youtube, I haven't found a single mention of this second encounter. I know there are people on these forums that go really neck-deep into OCD-craze and investigate stuff like that. Have any of you guys found anything interesting regarding this character? I remember him saying something along those lines, I watched him then proceed to stumble out of the bar and pass out drunk outside. I haven't seen him since. Never did get his hat. Tired of his mouth. The rest of valentine is too, even though the sheriff's disagreed with my deployment of vigilante justice, I know deep down they were just too scared to do it themselves. Pretty sure if you keep going and just letting him rant and fight him eventually he will stop showing up, like the lady in the nice saloon at Saint Denis. I ran into her somewhere else too but cannot remember where. We had a dialogue about her past and then I never saw her again. There are a couple encounters like this. Another one is the "get rich quick" scammer selling books outside the Saint Denis saloon (the nice one) and if you buy his book, the second encounter you confront him and he never comes back. Unfortunately, I have had not had any luck with the white power pamphlet guy in Saint Denis.... I encountered him a couple times and now there is no option for dialogue. I took that as a hint to eliminate him the same way all racist should be dealt with: drug through town behind a horse, mutilated, then fed to a gator. Let us know what happens and how many times you encounter the loud mouth drunk in Valentine. It could take some time. I started a massive shootout a while back in the saloon. I'm not even sure if he was there or not, but since then he is gone. I'm positive I didn't kill him.
