The panther trail saddle is one of the best. It's either that or the Rattlesnake. The gator saddle is garbage. Check the stats between the 2. The panther trail saddle is almost double the stats the gator is. With the panther, I can whoop my foxtrotter from sunup to sundown and do good on stamina. That Arabian is a rippoff for 42 gold. For 42 gold, I would have paid for any of the RDR undead nightmare horses. Fricken unicorn with endless stamina for 42 gold. Arabian even senses anything bad, it throws you. Ronin Ogami Posted February 26, 2019 Author Share Posted February 26, 2019 While I hardly get off my horse most of the time, even in story missions, I'm never running my mount fast or hard enough for long enough for it to show much (To me.). I have five horses, including the awesome Turk, however, I find I really DID get my gold bars' worth with the Black Arabian. I'm always riding in combat, hunting from horse back, & the only times I get thrown by the horse NOT running into crap (trust me, I think they're ALL blind) is when we get jumped by gorram big cats or grizziles. I haven't bought any of the "special" saddles as they are too expensive and the standard improved saddles have much better stats, so I'm just waiting for those.
