I joined the session before it started. I was able to buy ammunition and all of that. It was also a Showdown Large.  It's annoying! Haha.

Popped out right in front of a camp defense, so should be smooth sailing to 7/7 from here.

You will see the smoke rising and hear gunfire. There are quite a few enemies who spawn and they circle the camp, shooting at both you and the two travellers. If you aren't quick and careful, the travellers can easily die and you won't get credit.

 I've been getting all 7/7 for the past few days. it's only the posse stuff that really stops me, since I enjoy roaming the game solo for the most part.  I'm looking forward to doing a little more bow hunting in showdowns. & PIB makes it vastly amusing. (Laser guided Arrows & Tomahawks, ladies & gents)

is anyone else having connection problems on PS4 today? I can't stay logged in for more than a minute to do the challenges because of the continuous disconnects. I think I managed to do the weapon customisation one, but I'm not sure if it registered. as soon as I did it, I fast travelled from rhodes to tumbleweed to hunt the cougars, but soon after that, the first disconnect happened, forcing me to rejoin from where I left off.

when I rejoined, it put me back in rhodes, meaning I lost the payment for fast travelling.

since then, I've just free roamed into new austin, but this doesn't work as a solution either. I'm continually being disconnected before I can even set my game style to defensive.

I signed off right after I posted the pictures of the challenges when they changed over, but I played for a little over an hour beforehand without any issues. Yesterday was a different story though and in the limited about of time that I played, I got disconnected, but only once.

 

Also, I rebuilt the PS4 database yesterday as well. I hadn't done it in more than two months, but it does always seem to help with a variety of different things overall. I'd try that and see what happens.

Yesterday, the last thing I did before signing off was join a showdown series large through the quick join.  To my surprise I got in.  I almost won, I needed 1 more second on the clock, I had the winning kill in my sights, but oh well.  So I easily got my three headsots needed and I completed the showdown.  My streak is at 11 days so I should have gotten .3 gold for each one, but NOPE.  They only gave me credit for the three headshots BS.  I saved the vid, I'm sending a ticket to R* just for the sake of bitching.

tried that, didn't work. I'm still getting the 0x20010006 code.

Do we have a map over camp defence locations? The one that usually spawns for me seem to have taken the day off.

That code is a R* server issue and it really is about time they sorted it out. It’s been with us since day one and since I opened all ports, DMZ the PS4 and clear cache daily that disconnect and blue screening in Red are my only issues, I don’t get the host of other disconnects that other players get but these really need to be addressed by R*

I get that, I just can't understand why all of a sudden it's happening to me with the frequency I'm experiencing, when it's not been such a big issue for me before. I can't get anything done before I get kicked.

Yep, I used to get it about once a fortnight but then it moved to once a day now its twice a day.

 

And there is nothing we can do about it. Ive put several tickets in in the past and all i get is open your ports and clear cache, And I tell them ive done that in the reports, They just dont f*cking listen and wont admit its a R* issue even though the "Alert notice" tells you its a R* server issue.

 

There customer services are brain dead mice

I was in live chat with one of their support workers. she seemed nice and willing enough to take the time (but I guess that's what they are being paid for, so...), but she wasn't much use. she told me to make changes to my network settings, which made matters worse to the point where I couldn't connect at all., then when she exhausted all the steps in the on-screen diagnostic software they use, she gave up saying it was an ISP issue.

looks like it might break my daily streak if whatever is causing it isn't fixed.

So it is worth saving vid and opening ticket with R* if you don't get credit for any of the objectives.  I opened a ticket this morning and have already received a response.

Nice me too. I think this is the longest possible? Can't remember if I started day one or not...

 

Sadly it will be the end of my streak, and i'm not sure how diligent I'll be in getting it back until we get something to spend gold on, or at least something to do.

looks like it might break my daily streak if whatever is causing it isn't fixed.

just do a download speed check at ookla.com if you have more than 10 meg down and 2 meg up with a low ping (below 50) your isp is fine 

 

If your PS4 put you machine in a DMZ after you have opened all the R* required ports you will only get R8 server issues and blue screening there after lol

I get 100 down, 20 up. 13ms ping with 5 ms jitter and no packet loss. Ports forward (even though i'm hard wired), etc etc. I still get at least 2 disconnects a night and can't get into showdowns more than once in 20 tries usually.

Nothing wrong with your internet at all it’s R* servers 

 

They need to sort these issues out the 20010006 has been with us since launch and that’s 90% of the disconnects

download is 100mbps, upload is 7mbps and ping is usually less than 15ms.

I did a ping test of rockstargames.com and it was 100% packet loss. I did the same test with other sites and there was no loss at all.

the problem seemed to fix itself later on in the day, so I know the problem wasn't at my end, or my ISP's.
