Finally got today's Posse Vs kills and Hunt the Leader done. Totally grayed out Infighting etc and no option for Hunt the Leader, me and a friend's posse, switched sessions, switched posses, quick join then quit, eventually we got infighting ungrayed. Once completed, I then had the ungrayed option to run Infighting. We each completed Hunt the Leader via a lobby invite (so somebody could start it somewhere). AFTER completion then Hunt the Leader became an option in our Posse Vs menu (both of us, separately).

 

Highly suspicious, either intentional or broken, you can't complete these posse challenges unless through someone else first, then the options become available to run yourself, AFTER you no longer need it for a challenge. We've never been able to complete Posse races as a challenge, if races are broken, they shouldn't be a daily challenge, if the other don't work right, they shouldn't be challenges. And I have many coincidences or things working well when no longer or not a daily challenge.

 

Conspiratorial thinking? Sure. But start paying attention. The Posse menu noted above, and other challenges, I have observed completing things like gang attacks, or rescues, animals etc., are very hard to find when in the challenge list, findable but difficult, requiring session hops and running to different parts of the map, once complete they pop up everywhere as usual. Conspiracy or not, the challenges seem to reduce to odds, and things change once complete. It's BS. Document when you notice it, send a ticket to R*. Pay attention, you'll see it, too.

I won't be around to post the daily challenges when they change over, so if someone would like to do the honours, please feel free to do so. Let's hope they're decent and not things that do not seem to work. Thanks!

Flaky fish (either type of Bass), Badgers, non player enemies and raspberries should be easy enough. Getting lucky with a Pelican spawn and a couple of hideouts will take that to 6/7 for me.

 

If I manage to get 6/7 relatively quickly I'll try my luck in a freeroam event, if not I won't bother.

This is very doable, il aim for 7/7.

 

Too bad that RDO map doesnt have animals (absolutely brilliant otherwise.)

Does anyone have a good source for animals? I dont think I have ever seen a badger, even in SP

Not that it matters much, but my streak was broken as I was away. Now at the end of 28 days rewards it says Treasure map as reward again.

You get more gold from the streak though so it's not worth breaking it.

that old battlefield near rhodes....pretty sure they run around there...or flatneck station (aswell)!?

 

OT: hideouts...oh boy...yesterday I had 5 or 6 spawn in session....I have a bad feeling today it will be less...much less!

Pelicans seem to reliably spawn right around here for me. If I don't see a pelican there, I just ride out back west for a bit and then come back and usually there's a pelican.

 

And honestly again with the Pelican hunting lmao. I'm honestly convinced that Rockstar have some huge Knicks fan among their development team and they're mad that the NOLA Pelicans got the 1st draft pick in the NBA.

@IG_Yeah, Copperhead Landing and Braithwaite Manor are my go to locations. The problem I usually have with Pelicans isn't so much getting them to spawn, it's more getting them to spawn when other players aren't around.

 

The last couple of times we've had Pelican related challenges every lobby I switched to had small groups of players killing each other to prevent anyone being able to pluck any Pelican that was killed or fighting over actually being able to kill one.

 

I can't be bothered with that.

one time a dude plucked the pelican I downed....I just stood there shaking my head...and he rode off in a hurry....no need to shed blood over birds is there?!

Obviously, as you say, keeping the streak going is far better than getting another map, but my streak will be coming to an end at some point soon, I don't think the wife would be too happy at me packing the PS4 when she goes into labour. 

 

But a second map will make building my streak back up again a little less painful.

When you switch sessions, the game tries it's hardest to spawn you near other players in that location.

Go elsewhere, then switch sessions and ride/fast travel back to your pelican spawn.

Neither. In the bird shooting contest you shoot as many birds as possible, but no need to skin them. There's no shooting each other aspect to it.

Do you have any tricks for getting the gang hideouts to spawn? Any time of day you gotta be there?

Not really, I usually go from Cumberland falls, past Hanging dog ranch up to Mt Hagen to check those four hideouts. 

 

I have found that if you just hang out around the edge of Cumberland falls just as night is falling it will usually spawn, but the others just seem random.

 

I try that at every hideout though, hang around the edge of where it spawns for a bit, maybe kill a few animals. If it doesn't pop up in like 3-5 mins move to the next one.

as I said, yesterday I had at least 5 or 6 hideouts in session, spawning "naturally"....I knew today it'd be a pain in the ass to find even 1 of those hideouts stealth bunkers

Was able to get 2 easy ones done before work. Seasoned exotic bird and flaky fish, thanks to always keep a stash in my bags. 3 minute job, including logging in. I hope I can finish the rest when I'm home again tonight, but doubt I'll be back in time.

Last time we had to do 2 hideouts there were 5 of us spread out looking to spawn one. Nothing did spawn. The following night they were spawning regularly, we saw a few.

I'm skipping the hideouts today, spent over 3 hours looking last time.  1st hour was kind of expected, rest was "I must find one soon"  rode the length of the msp and back, didn't even find bodies or tents.  Quit next to one, sign in next day and it's active.

I tend to keep a full stock of uncooked meats, especially exotic bird. So my character ate one thyme exotic bird meat and cooked another. One challenge down, and I might get  some more done later. I'm busy today.

I tried the current one couldn't get it to work. I want one so bad, last time I did 30 hideouts in one day using a solo session. They spawned so damn often.

I want to get these gold awards related to random events done....
