Not sure if Name Your Weapon FFA is bugged but it doesn't count towards the Multiple kills in 5 seconds.

I popped 2 Guys that were working together within like 3sec, didn't work.

Got it in the next mode easy, what a sh*tshow getting into Showdowns is though..

Yes it's usually a lot easier than it sounds. Even the people I know who are below average for pvp are able to get them without much trouble.

Was the Name Your Weapon the one you spawned into? If so, you have to wait until the next game starts for it to count towards challenges. PITA for sure!

Got lucky, spawned out of free roam challenge right after getting my 3 kills, train was 200m away, rode it all the way to just outside Strawberry.

Here's 5 Vanilla Flowers just outside Rhodes right across the river from Caliga Hall

Also, the Train thing took under 10min, it's not that bad at all.

I spent most my time in Cinematic mode taking screenshots.

Yea, the train ride was surprisingly quick. I jumped on at about where I've marked northeast of Bluewater Marsh and ended my trip up north where I'm standing in Roanoke Ridge.

Train ride went from Rhodes to almost Van Horn.  Nicked a few birds along the way.

Thanks for the info. Today is going to be one of those jump on for ten minutes to continue my streak days. I logged off in Valentine yesterday so I'll swap a gun part and if I get lucky with a train spawn I might just hop on, AFK and hope no one kills me.

Problem with train objectives is just finding one before someone kills the driver.

Riggs Station, Rhodes and Annesburg are best to find trains. If one doesn't come, switching sessions might be needed.

I just rode the track in reverse until I found a train. Ended up boarding at Riggs Station. And got the challenge done just barely south of Rhodes. BUT, I rode the track in reverse from Annesburg ALL THE WAY AROUND to Riggs Station. LOL

 

Just a little tip for perch: if you know where to find salmon, you'll find perch also 98% of the time. They seem to go hand in hand. I just use bread, and if anything other than a perch bites, I keep it. I throw the perch back. Maybe I'll catch him again.

 

Hummingbird Sage can be found everywhere between the Kamassa River and the train tracks north of the "Bluewater Marsh" on the map.

 

For vanilla: The road going east-west just below the "NWA" part of Bayou NWA on the map, from above the E in Lemoyne and going west, vanilla is quite abundant on both sides of the road and close to the road.

 

The rest is relatively easy. Might be some competition for hideouts during the day, but at night, we had zero trouble knocking it out.

Jumped on the train south of Rhodes, few other randoms got on and off and finished south of Van Horn. No drama and took a few mins including its stop at St Denis.

I got the train at flatneck station, there's normally 2 trains come over the bridge in the morning after sunrise. Rode to st denis station.

 

Just trying to find a 2nd gang hideout for 7/7 now

Yeah. I boarded the train a bit after it had left Rhodes. Done before it had arrived at Van Horne. Probably half way between VH and Siska.

I jumped on the train after it came through riggs station. I boarded right at flatneck station, but then it stopped and a shooting began. I was like NO, WHY?! ha that's when I realized another player was actually DRIVING the train and messed around with NPCs. I took upon driving myself then, he jumped back on a bit later...2 more joined near valentine. in the end I took off close to the emerald ranch, another player had taken the "wheel" by then.

Are you using the carcass trick?  It always works for me.  Have a 2-3 star carcass on your horse, 3 star works better and ride by any hideout, ambush spot, random encounter and they will pop up.

 

Also, the more active you are in the lobby the more they'll pop up.  I've had hideouts, ambushes and random encounters pop up back to back at times. 

 

Also helps to stay in the same lobby.

The only thing I know is that hideouts appear far more often in solo lobbies.

Shame there's no easy glitch to get a solo lobby nowadays.

I did 30 or more hideouts in 1 day. 

Got 0 maps, though

There was a clear difference for me.

Still hoping for another easy solo lobby glitch, so I can mop up the new gold awards for ambushes, campsite defends and helping strangers in need.

Almost done with helping strangers (88/100) but only at 50 for campsites and 37 ambushes done.

So yeah, can be just a coincidence, but in the last hour and 10 minutes I've done two stranger missions, cleared two hideouts, and I'm now sitting here waiting the timer on a person in need mission. 

 

I'd much rather spend a bullet, get some meat, a pelt, and rp and cash than waste my play time running around trying to find a hideout. 

 

I've been concentrating on stranger and story missions trying to rank up.  But, depending on what and if there are any bonuses this week,  or if the casino drops in gtao I'll see if I can finish off the buckle challenges. 

 

Currently I'm sat at 117 gang hideouts, 40 defend camps, 27 ambushes, and currently doing the 77th person in need.

Hideouts, ambushes, ect for me are random chance to occur and should not be a daily challenge. Luck is not a challenge.

Maybe there is some magic or tricks i do not know but for me hideouts, ambushes, ect are all very random to occur.
The activities offer a challenge to complete, but for me getting that challenge is luck.
Again, i do not consider luck to be a challenge. Luck is just random chance.
