I can verify that using dynamite does not count as catching fish so i have no succulent fish to cook.

Today was an all seven challenges day. The toughest was getting one of the specific gang hideouts to spawn. Colter and Hanging Dog Ranch just wouldn't go active. The Solomon's Folly gang hideout did activate after ten-fifteen minutes though. And I was able to just walk through the barn and start wasting Del Lobos with the Maxim Gun, Finding sheep at Emerald Ranch was the seventh challenge, and resulted in a fifty cent bounty for killing sheep, and a few lawmen. But completing all seven awards still brought in two and a half gold bars.

Did my Maxim gun kills in Cumberland Falls hideout.

A friend came on later and had the idea to use the hideout's Maxim gun to kill lawmen. We went to Six Point Cabin, someone was doing the hideout already but we waited till he finished and then went and got wanted while 1 of us stayed at the gun.

 

I have seen a couple say they didn't receive their map today. One said they already have a map of the same I happened to get. It's random though what map you get, but could it be if you have a duplicate in your satchel it won't give it to you? (Map is placed directly in your satchel, not at the post office.)

Not the cannons where you start, but there's two on the battlefield, in front of the fort, closer to the door, used by the NPC's

Boy, do I feel stupid now lol. I've played this mission at least 6 times and never even noticed. Good to know, since I'll be helping a friend later on.

The (dishonorable) mission where you hijack the train to go into the oil fields would be even easier. But you have to be dishonorable to start it even on replay (grrrrrr).

Has anyone confirmed that the streak resets after today?  Would be crazy if the bonus continues rather than resets.

So far it hasn't. We'll know early tomorrow morning if we keep earning half a gold bar for every daily challenge completed.

Mines gone backwards today by only 7 days so im hoping thats for real and if you keep it up it will only reset back to day 21 when you complete 28th day  .....Fingers crossed

No gone backwards by 7 days to the 21st day completed, I have completed the 28th day first thing this morning

 

Edit ::::: after completing and going back to day 21 i carried on finishing the other 5 for today and still received the half bar gold for each one thereafter 

 

 

 

 

The Fort Watson mission also has a maxin just inside the gates

This is the mission I did, my brother started it since he had max dishonor, while I have max honor; I drove and let him get the first 3 kills, then quick swap over for me to get my 3. There's tons of enemies so I got it in like 0.5 seconds. Legit, 1 bullet just blew through 2 people. Lmao!

not into the fishing game....I just found out about river lures and sh*t...earned a trophy "this big" etc...

so, salmons?!? I just caught a perfect pike...it sold for 8 dollars....I bought 3 river lures with that money....now I need to find salmons, right?!

could not break down the pike, why?!

Salmon or Steelhead Trout. Break each fish down for one piece of succulent meat.

Because the pike won't fit in your satchel and that's where it needs to be to break it down.

You got it, remember to right dpad or left dpad so you cook seasoned succulent fish for todays daily make sure you have 3 pieces of mint or the other herbs for cooking

Although today was a very solo friendly dailies day, I couldn't get myself to do them. I did one to keep the streak going and to work towards the treasure map, but haven't got another incentive to play the game much, nor do I have anything I'd really want to buy for my character, so money grinding isn't an incentive either.....

 

I really hope the summer update will come very soon and give us something new to do, preferably PvE.

San Luis River near Solomon's Folly. Small game arrows or varmint rifle and 8am. Steelhead Trout.

 

Can easily, find 5 or 6.

I've always got my Salmon from O'Creagh's Run, they're usually a little over 5lbs, and sadly there doesn't seem to be a way to break down Muskies. It should have been via 'Horse Cargo' but unfortunately, it doesn't work.

 

And to catch them, I used a Special Spinner. Works like a charm!

You can get salmon very fast on O'Creagh's Run using the varmint rifle, 1x salmon = 1x succulent fish. Got 5 in 10 min.

As well as the places you've already been offered:

 

Salmon:

 

Dakota River almost anywhere below Cumberland Falls but north of Limpany.

 

Kamassa River pretty much anywhere between Annesburg and the "W" in "Bluewater Marsh" on the map.

 

Steelhead Trout:

 

Dakota river anywhere south of Limpany.

 

Upper Montana River anywhere along the plains to Blackwater

 

Lower Montana River from MacFarland's Ranch to Quaker's Cove (and Thieve's Landing)

 

Flat Iron Lake

 

Some spots on the Kamassa river in the northern part of the Bayou.

 

Open your satchel. go to your crafting tab, highlight the fish and you'll see the button option to break down. You can sell the fish whole (Salmon and trout go for $2.50 a piece), but for the daily, you'll need to cook 3 pieces of meat (from 3 fish) WITH an herb (oregano, mint or thyme).

Decent 4/7 day today, maybe 6/7 if I can actually get into a Showdown large. I'm still refusing to feed my character though, clothes actually fitting > any amount of gold.
