That happened to me too, had to retry a couple times before I got in. Then I had trouble finding a team so I just played the small version. Keep trying it should work eventually.

Okay killing 5 players with the Rare Shotgun is the worst challenge so far. And I wasn't complaining before. At least with most of the other challenges you didn't need to spend money. For example you can find most  of the other weapons in showdown.

 

But... the rare shotgun can't be picked up in any showdown. The only way to complete the challenge is to buy it for $258.

 

This might be fine for completionists, who want to own every weapon either way. But for someone like me, who only wants to purchase the things I need, the Rare Shotgun is a waste of money. I don't want it, it's not useful, it's worse than an upgraded double barrel.

But this no make sense, because R* sell gold to players, not dollars. Most of goods in RDO cost dollars, gold can be spended on appearance items in most cases. Only reasonable exception is black arabian for 42 bars, all other items is just waste of gold. Even saddles.

So they make a daily where you have to spend 250 on a rare shotgun dollars using up your dollars then when you want some nice clothing or any thing you need buy gold 

 

Saddles after level 88 are well worth the price whether its gold or dollars, Take the panther saddle for example place that on a trotter or Black Arabian and with its specs you can if your style of play suits run accross the whole map virtually at full gallop with little loss of Horse stamina, hard to do with lesser saddles

 I can't stand, I LOATHE, the "Kill 5 players with  'x' weapon". My weapons wheel already feels overstuffed, seeing as I never, ever use the cattleman or carbine. I'm not buying MORE crap to clutter up my wheel & scroll past. costing me valuable seconds in a battle. if anything R* needs to add a way to move these unwanted items to your camp lockbox for "storage". Or give us a way to sell or delete them, PLEASE.

Stop-stop imma start losing thread of conversation. What 250 dollars? For completing all 7 dailies i got 1 gold bar and xp for doing every challenge. And no dollars.

Winning a race is a pain. I mean, they're kind of a sh*t-show. Or maybe I'm a bad horse racer.

 

I have the rare double barrel shotgun, but it is stupid to put it in the daily objectives - the others you could at least pick up the gun in a showdown, this I think you have to buy. Does anyone know of a showdown spawn for it, for people who don't own it?

Because as said above they need us to spend all our hard earnt dollars so we buy gold and fist fighting doesnt fall into there game plan of forcing pvp onto everyone in free roam

Yeah, my mistake, language barrier. But you told about R* force us to spend more money and buy their gold, i said that most of items in the game can be bought for dollars not gold. All of guns cost dollars, gold can be used only for appearance. So, major currency in the game is $ not gold, which R* sell us via their store. So your point about forcing us to spend more dollars no make sense cause we mostly spend dollars, not gold which we can buy in R* store for real money.

Kill someone who is using the Rare Shotgun and pick it up off the floor.

 

I win races very easily.

 

I've also bought all the weapons in the game, fully upgraded and stuff. So the weapon challenges are easy for me. Just yesterday, it was kill 5 with Carcano. That's good cos I was still trying to max affinity stat for Carcano yesterday and got it done.

It's the greyed out bar when you look at your weapon stats. It's not the stat than goes white when you have special ammo on. It's normally the range, reload and accuracy stat that is greyed out. So you need 200~ kills to make it white and increased.

 

I also maxed all weapons' affinity recently and noticed a possible bug. The rare shotgun accuracy is stuck. I spent two days trying to work on rare shotgun kills with slugs and regular but the accuracy won't improve anymore. It's slightly greyed out, even with slug or explosive slug. And all my guns are cleaned so there's no mistake.

That could explain why my lancaster feels like a laser rifle, lol I only use about eight weapons, & have had most of them from the start. Gotten my 1k frag buckles for all of 'em, too.

Hostile Territory, Oilfields. I bring a horse way up to the higher corner of the map, on a small cliff overlooking the train capture point. From there I usually snipe in that map, so I just do it on horseback.

 

It is really stupid though, no doubt about it.

 

I hope I haven't got posse feuds. Hate having to get one of those together.

Pitty everyone who does these Kill a player daily's doesn't go to side missions, Its becoming a nightmare again, they wait for you finishing your stranger and pop you as you spawn then jump lobby's
