Hideout worked nicely for the stealth kills thankfully. Now if I can get 3 free roam missions done I'm good with completing them all today too. Shouldn't have wrote that, now they are not going to work at all today, lol.

 I'm LOVING the "non player" enemy challenges. Now that's more like it. PvP & NPC free roam  "kill" challenges should be separate.

My game is messed up today however. One mission didn't start. Swapped sessions, got one to start but got "Your posse abandoned job". Then got one to work, then got another Abandon, the got one to work. One to go.

Today is the first time I've been able to complete all of the daily objectives, and even had fun doing it (especially the stealth kills on enemy NPC (I got a treasure map from the gang hideouts I used to get the stealth kills at too!), as well as the hunting related objectives). Between the gold nugs from dailys and the free gold for posse joining and leveling up, I was finally able to buy the brindle thoroughbred I've had my eye on. I named that mug Obie after my brindle pitbull. Seriously, animal companions when? I want both a pitbull and a pet wolf I can sic on griefers, use as hunting dogs, and maybe a dwelling to keep them in.

If you cant find any hideouts, there is a cop in a corner slightly north of the butcher in St Denis that you can stealth melee. You will obviously get a wanted level after doing so, but just let the coppers kill you and after that it's rince and repeat.

I had trouble with this yesterday. First it said needed more players (it was just me and a friend) and was grayed out Second time it said that it couldn't be done in defensive play mode. Switching to offensive worked.

Never had a James Langton mission fail before. I can see the damn shack, timer disappears and the recipient walks away lol.

An easy way to do the stealth kills to today is at Thieves Landing. Sneak up and kill one of the gang members and you'll get a stealth kill. Let the rest of the gang kill you. When you respawn back in you can do the same thing again.

Absolutely loving the new challenges. I actually managed to do them all today! I remember when they first dropped, one was to get a kill with the Evans Repeater despite it not being available lmao

You can also get stealth kills by sniping, did all but one of my kills that way.

I don't like when it's something you don't really have any say in starting. Like, what if you don't come across someone in need to be escorted?

 

As long as that decides to show up though, they should be mostly easy enough. Bow headshot might be tricky if they're not still - but paint it black can help with that anyway.

There's an escort mission that spawns on the west road leading out of rathskeller fork by the train tracks.

betweeen manteca falls and the old baccus place....had an escort spawn there twice

I’m not sure if I’m right or not but when accepting stranger missions I’ve noticed it states the mission then quickly flashes up accept once you press X, I’ve found if I press quickly and release before accept pops up the mission works.

 

if I’m not quick enough I’ve been getting the posse abandoned mission, maybe not related who knows.

Yeah the "Save someone/Cut them free then bring them somewhere" don't seem to count, unfortunately. Did 3 of those before finding a straight "Hey bring me here" which finally counted.

Finally completed my first 7-days streak lol

 

As usual, easy objectives to complete but the free-roam even is going to be a pain to trigger considering I've only done 2 in, like, 15 hours that I've been playing since the update ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just need to do one to keep my streak alive, and skinning a turtle would be the closest. As for Condors, I may go down to New Austin as I have the rank 145 treasure map for Benedict Point.

 Completed the turtle one while doing "On the Hunt" around my stompin' grounds of Stillwater. plenty of birds for plump meat, too
