10/9 role ... with Collector! Didn't think you could do it with Collector?

 

3rd antique alch. (9th role daily) went off at same time as 6 collected (10th daily, already having collected the 3 tarot cards.)

Though I will say this in their defense: some content just isn't fun even though it seems like it would be--e.g. the casino. Just a waste of time; yet I was one of those players that kept wanting it to open up.

I have no idea about GTA since I've never tried it but I reckon the same situations are over there too.

the way I play since the update, the gold nerf is more than the math indicates, when just comparing payouts.

I just don't do certain challenges anymore, they're not worth my time.
That leads to less gold from the challenges, and completing 7/7 and 9/9 less often - so I lose out on the bonus more often.

Role dailies is always worth doing! And now we got a award for it too! And they are easy to do too!

I like the spin a wheel once a day, as well as being able to solo play blackjack (wish that was in RDO, solo playing blackjack.)

Yeah, I'm at 15/20 days! (for all 9 role dailies done, for that gold award.)

 

I still wish the 7 had more choices, such as a total of 12 to pick the 7 from (like you pick the 9 from 15/whatever, if you have all the roles.)

So then people who don't want to do the pvp ones would not have to, while people who don't want to fish/whatever would not have to do those.

I have suggested this too, or the ability to dismiss a challenge up to 3 challenges and they would then get replaced by another challenge instead, that way each player may have 3 totally different challenges each day so we're not all doing the same ones, the same could be done to the role challenges where you can dismiss 1 per role of them and it gets replaced with another, of course that would make my Daily Challenges site a little redundant since I wouldn't be able to get these replaced challenges, so 10 or 12 General Challenge list with the option to only complete 7 of them would be the way to go haha.

That whole ‘make your own story’ line was utter bullsh*t.  Just total game designer circle jerk nonsense.

 

Some online games could claim to allow players to ‘make their own story’, but those games have way more content and a sh*tload more depth.

 

If an online game only has a single 10 hour gameplay loop and extremely limited customisation options, players can’t really create their own unique gaming experience.

 

To create our own stories, we need the possibility of different play styles, branching storylines, way more interactivity with NPCs, options to meaningfully interact with other players other than emotes or fighting, way more customisation options that affect gameplay, properties, goals to work towards and preferably some kind of endgame content.

 

This isn’t hard, many other studios have been doing it for well over a decade with nowhere near the resources that rockstar has available to them.

Oh, just noticed it was only 1 player headshot with a bow, so not totally insane.

Hey, I'm at work so I can't check really, but do you HAVE to kill them for that?

It just says "headshot with a bow."  I don't remember if it only counts as

a "headshot" if the person dies?

You can do it will all of them, you just need to be lucky and hope one of the Daily Challenge notifications doesn’t get interrupted by a normal notification as the game will process that first before the extra gold one so the list is complete by the time it processes the next Daily Challenge if that makes sense, but it’s mainly Moonshiner that does this.

 

You could even get 3 in 1 but it’s rare, you have to have these Daily Challenges for example

 

2 Bounty targets brought in from (state) posters

3 Bounty targets brought in

Bounty mission completed with 5 mins left or

More than one bounty target brought in at once

 

 

6 Collectibles collected

3 Collectibles found with shovel

3 Jewerly or Coins or anything with a shovel found

 

 

$200 made from Moonshine sold

Moonshine sold with 5 mins left

Moonshine sole with 18 bottles intact

I usually have better luck doing multiple naturalist dailies like 5 samples within 10 minutes and 3 of a particular type to finish the 5.

Today's for example!

I hadn't even noticed that today, I only did a few quick ones as I'm still only getting 0.1 this week (day 6).

Maybe I'll go back on later and bang out the rest of the 9 roles.

 

I hadn't noticed that other notifications came up as well, maybe that was the issue when they didn't work.

The problem is I usually have to spend quite a bit of extra time coordinating things so they come together at the end just for it to randomly fail.

 

edit: got my 10/9 using my hunting wagon with 5 whitetail, plus 1 deer, a rabbit and a goose on my horse, plus a couple of turkeys close to camp, so I carried them over.

Donated horse cargo, loose turkeys, then filled out the remainder of the 15 with small critters, called my wagon and finished the 6 large and 20 in 10 minutes at one go.

I could have done it with sampling, but did those instead of selling shine to make up the 8 before doing the trader dailies

Yeah the only time they don't work for me is when I get awarded for 9th Role Challenge and it's interrupted by another notification before the 10th Role Challenge, but it's usually only the Moonshiner sell missions that do this, sometimes it does it on the Collector ones too when it pops up with how many items you have of of the collection for the item you have collected.

Yeah, it was collector and moonshiner that failed for me.

I'll always try to squeeze a little more out of the bastiges, they owe me gold now that I'll never get, so no guilt over getting a little bonus. 😁

Doesn't work for 3, from what I've tried. 

 

Your collector one is the exact one I've tried 3 with, twice or so  ;)

I'm not sure why, but with 3 you only get 1! It is like it "catches" what is going

on then, so for example what happened to me was just getting the

 

"3 collectables found with a shovel", since that was the first one it  displayed.

 

So I've managed to get 10/9 on stuff, but never 11/9.

I stopped trying to get 11/9 after the third time, since you don't only not

get it but also don't get 10/9 (messes it up, for some reason.) 

So in this collectible example above, a safe bet would be to have the

"6" and either of the other ones probably (but not all 3, or you'll end up with just 1.)

I think anything with a shovel might possibly cause it to be just "1", though; in the previous

day's example, for instance, I got 10/9 on 6 collectables and 3 antique booze at the same time.

 

I was going to try it today with the large carcasses/20 carcasses turned in, which always works,

but I had the 6 large carcasses earlier before I filled the wagon with 10 medium and me with 13

or so "small" pouch animals (got a few extra, since was bumping into multiple spawns.)

Yeah you have to be lucky, as I've said usually the game will interrupt a Daily Challenge pay out with an items X of X collected or Moonshine sold etc. that puts the next Daily Challenge to the back of the line so to speak and by that time the 9 Dailies are complete and locked, which is why it doesn't work most often, the same with getting 10 Dailies, the exact same issue, and like I also mentioned it probably designed this way so that we cannot get more than 9 but possibly due to a bug of some kind they get through and the non daily challenge notification gets put to the back of the line instead, or first, that's the reason sometimes 11/9 or 10/9 sometimes is unsuccessful.

I mean also, before the Bounty Hunter update where they've fixed the Role Bounties again, there were one or two that if you did 10/9 by doing Bounty missions last the Daily Challenges list would bug out which meant you could actually complete all 15 it was usually the Lasso from Horseback challenge, I would get one target with the Reinforced Lasso, then switch the normal Lasso and the game would credit the Daily Challenge but wouldn't lock them and also 3 bounty targets brought in when Hard or Legendary Bounty was bugged, I brought in 3 hard bounties to get the Challenge List to bug out so I could do all them heh.

I tried as many combos as possible when they started locking the Role Dailies after completing the 9, I mean I had to Daily Challenges is my life now it seems haha so when more gold was on offer I beat the system many times, but it seems Rockstar have fixed a few, and most likely after the next update / patch our simple little tricks of getting 10/9 will soon be fixed unfortunately, and I wouldn't say that 11/9 is possible without even trying it successfully as I don't like to spread false information or hope. However, it's rare it happens so 10/9 is much more likely.

I'm trying to figure out now how this might go for 3 at once... Ah, if do a two person bounty, for 2 brought in and two looted (preferred in the bounty wagon, so really doing "two at once" for sure, but should still only count as "one "Bounty completed in the hour" ), then in the same

hour do a one person bounty for one more brought in and looted. That might work? 

The third bounty, being one person in that bounty, would tick off "2 in an hour", the third brought in and the third looted.

 

I'll try and remember to do it as 9/10/11 and see what happens.

Not looted since that will be complete anyway before you can get 3 in 1, brought in usually works, how I used to to it was as follows, was do 1 bounty target poster for a 1 person bounty and run down the clock to be more than 5 mins then I would do a two or more person bounty target from the same state or reload the session until the board gave one and it would check off all 3 at once, so these one from memory:

 

  • 2 brought in from a bounty poster or
  • 2 bounties completed within one real-world hour (which I think has replaced 2 bounty missions completed where there wasn't a time limit)
  • 3 bounty targets brought in
  • 1 bounty hunt within 5 minutes
  • 1 Hard or Legendary Bounty Target brought in
  • 3 More than one bounty target brought in at once (obviously this one won't work if the limit is only 2 and only works with the 5 mins of left one or Hard and Legendary target by doing easier missions first

 

Basically when all three are 'brought in' type of missions you can do it in such a way that it checks off all 3 at once, sometimes I do this when not going for 10/9 or 11/9 to get 3 Dailies done quickly too.

LOLS, yeah what was I thinking?

 

So I skipped looted, but STILL did not even get 10/9:

 

I had 1/2 Brought in within an hour

 

2/3 brought in.

 

Brought in the next bounty, WAY within "1 hour"

 

Only counted "3/3 brought in", showing the 9/9 and the rest locked  =/

 

 

I did notice for the third time/whatever, that any additional XP for

0/10,000  bounty hunter xp, for the .5 gold and $100, is "forfeit."

Upon doing it, watched and was 0/10,000 again after the award finished (so any xp that would

go OVER 10,000, is just gone and you are 0/10,000 again, after "turn in." )

 

 

ARGHG can't get whooping cranes to save my life, billion herons/sand hill crane/tricolored/etc.

Sandhill crane loots "whooping crane feather", but doesn't count as whooping crane, lols (all

around Lagras/St. Denis.)

Finally got 1/2 by Quaker's cove, my desperation place for pelican and crane (one whooping

crane and something like 7 pelican which I thought might be whooping cranes... but not...)

 

Hey, if like before the "Christmas snow/decorations" should start tomorrow Dec 19TH!!!

 

"Last Christmas Rockstar gave me a streak, .5 per daily but they took it away...

This year, I'll try to find a games publisher who is special... "

I was going to try and use the bounty dailies for 10/9, but after bringing in 2 randoms, neither of which started the 2 in an hour daily, I had to switch and go with the old standby of naturalist dailies: 5 samples in 10 minutes & 3 wetland samples, which worked fine.

There's always something broken...

Maybe I did not get 10/9 because the 2nd one, in the hour, did not even count for that (first one counted.)

 

Yeah, I should have done the naturalist one  ;)

Wanted to get a bounty one to work for it.

Yeah mine only did the one also, I should have checked before I finished the second bounty. hopefully we'll get a list where all 3 can be done which is easier so these would be must better when we get them heh

Ah, at least the two showdown ones can be done in just one showdown (I'd guess, unless it is a no rifle one.. lols.)

could probably work??? That is if it counts the no killing; one I did a few days ago counted it, but then the next time it was on the

list it was not counted (even though NO KILLING AT ALL for sure!)

 

Problem is you'd have to be 

 

2/3 bounty targets brought in, then

try 1 bounty completd without killing to maybe get 3/3 and 1 without killing,

with no way of knowing if it would count the no killing that time.

So far the randoms have counted for the no killing, hopefully that might get the job done.

I found a random bounty at Guthrie Farm (west of Emerald), didn't want him to cross off the 'completed without killing', so I stabbed him after hogtying, hauled him to Valentine...and he counted as not being killed.  😖

 

I ended up doing the 7 medium carcasses and 3 deadly predators for 10/9 instead using 2 small gator skins & a small gator carcass as the last donation.

Bounty completed without killing: spotted a random bounty, fishing at Cattail Pond. Hit him with the Gravesend bolo; asshole rolled over into the deep part of the pond and drowned. Oddly enough, that daily was registered, when I turned him in.

killing folk doesn't leave 'em PERMANENTLY dead I guess, zombie DLC confirmed!
