List of Daily Challenges

One of the easier 9/9 days.  All collector and naturalist challenges, with a couple of moonshiner and one trader for good measure.

Also level 20 of the Halloween Pass already.  Welp.

Nice, I JUST hit 18 (mainly just doing 9/9 of the trade ones, the last few days.)

 

The blue horse "day of the dead" looking mask and "gothic" moonshine theme are really

the only things I want OH, and the "scary" and "frighten" emotes are kind of neat, if you 

rapid press the button a couple to make them the longer one. I especially like the "scary"

one when mounted on a horse, looks so goofy!

Usually if any glitch makes things easier, they patch it (while detrimental play issues last forever, like the

INSANELY long animal spawns problem that was only fixed with Naturalist.)

super f*cking lame! obviously R* is doing that on purpose, since the dailies are NOT randomized. anyhow, let's grab some gold and get on with the finer things in life.

Well guys, I've reached the end of the line for now.  Going away for a few days which means my streak will end, and honestly, it's hard to muster up the enthusiasm to continue logging in.  I've enjoyed the Naturalist update probably more than any of the others, and the LA's and Animal Field Guide were good additions.  However the challenges are repetitive and with more gold and money than I will ever need, not really sure what reason there is to continue.  Until next time, cowpokes...

It's one of the better places to check, but speaking for myself, there have still been times (even during the smaller sessions) when even there I couldn't get it to spawn.

 

I've noticed that in recent weeks, R* has increased train spawns (thankfully!) in locations like Rhodes and Valentine. It might be tied to getting a wanted level--worth a try (just kill a chicken)--the likely idea is to let wanted players hop on board a train to escape the law.

90% of the time I get spawned into McFarlane's ranch, there's a train approaching

Would be nice, but I seriously doubt it... unless @Tez2 finds something soon? He did say that the Steam qabeta files were being updated frequently of late--not exactly sure what the implications of that are?

7/7 for now, 9/9 later to come.

that train did spawn, apparently not everything is f*cked since the update. fortunately, with 15 players in session, there was noone around to screw with my valuable time!

For a few seconds you're in a solo lobby so trains should spawn. You just have to hope it spawns you there. You're right, most of the time it does.

My Hennington's Stead camp is usually around McFarlane's; never played without seeing a train there several times, 

even now with more players. 

 

I know because I have to go around it a lot to get to the fast travel wheel!

 

It is also where I always go to do the "birds shot from a train" one. 

 

Yeah, a Halloween one would be cool. Even something small, like how we were all surprised when it was snowing everywhere (and cold, even in the desert) at Christmas.

OH and that Christmas tree, that was fun.  Wow, i almost forgot about that. Hope they do that again! I'm sure they will (the Xmas thing), since they already did the work to do it before.

Does ANY free roam event and throwing dynamite count?

 

(3 player kills with explosives in free roam events.)

Any event that's PVP, yes. And dynamite counts, explosive rounds too, and that's probably easier.

Yeah, for some reason it was missing some of the the data from Rockstar, but think I've fixed the bug so hopefully it works as it should now.

 

Also the clocks are due to go back (at least in the UK) tonight/tomorrow so the Daily Challenges (and Collectors Cycles) will reset an hour earlier, so will be 6AM GMT for me from tomorrow, which is the same as 6AM UTC which is the time for Rockstar until March.
