I think every Fence hast a Cat nearby. Thieves Landing definetly. 

In Strawberry Cats are common too

Madam Bizarre is at her northwest of Armadillo location. A little south of Twin Rocks.
Red Sage can be found a little north of Fort Mercer.

I tried and failed to find a cat near the fence in Van Horn.

 

I've started to evaluate my challenges based on which provide the least amount of XP. Not a bad list for that today.

• Cats photographed
• Red Sage picked
• Visit a shop in Saint Denis
• Visit Fort Mercer
• Crafted Toxic Moonshine
• Toads (+20 for kills and skinning)
   
• Legendary Animals photographed - Didn't try. Needed kills or samples from the two I saw. Didn't want to mess around.
• Completed special moonshine recipe - Didn't want to risk Change Appearance to trigger the notice for a completed batch.
• Bounty targets hogtied and looted - No need to finish I guess, might get lucky with targets-only to avoid kills.

Pretty good list today, not a fan of stranger missions, but it shouldn't be too tedious.

I got lucky with the stranger mission as it was an easy steal and deliver a wagon job.
Nice to get a 7/7 once in a while.

I use these naturalist free roam events for taking fotos / collecting samples...

they are are super useful for me even more, since they give double gold atm.

Loaded the game with 'Freeroam New Austin' option. Spawned like 100ft from Fort Mercer. Got 5 Red Sage at Fort Mercer, while visiting the place. (Ozula Elk spawned and got me $24 extra for selling its pelt to nearby Gus). 

1 gold bar at 1 location.

 

Reloaded the game with 'Freeroam Lemoyne' option. Spawned near Braithwaite Manor. Moved my camp to Scarlett Meadows for the Trader missions and it spawned on the spot north of Bolger Blade. Got turkeys and small birds/bats/rats a plenty, so donating 20 carcasses/donations/7 medium carcasses was a quick job. Crafted 2 toxic moonshines there too. Was lucky with a bootlegger event spawning there and took out 5 while in cover.

2.5 gold bars in 1 location.

 

Anthony Foreman lives near camp and he gave me an easy quick 'destroy supplies' mission in Saint Denis. Visited Gus' shop at the market in Saint Denis, there's always a cat around there. Took his photo for another challenge done. (Ota Fox spawned while I rode off from Foreman's).

1.5 gold bar at 1 location.

 

I collected toads on the island group at the Flat Iron Lake and took samples of 3 iguanas there.

1 gold bar at 1 location.

 

Reloaded the game with 'Freeroam New Austin' again. Got the message of 'completed special moonshine recipe' while doing nothing for it. Spawned near Armadillo and paid Nazar a visit, to sell items. Used maps for eggs and fossils. 

2 gold bars gained.

 

Also got the 3 gold bars for 7/7 and 9/9 dailies done. All in an hour and a half work. It's a good daily list today. 

 

Small lobbies are the best thing ever happened to this game.

I figure I may as well bite for access to Toxic Moonshine, now that I finally got around to obtaining the Weapon Locker via the Trader role.

You should have a letter in your inventory. I think if you read it, it should give an icon on the bar at Emerald Ranch. You can buy in there, IIRC.

There are usually 2 at Thieves' Landing as well...usually.

in st. denis there's a cat right across (a little to the left) from the post office. sitting on top of a short flight of stairs in front of a door entrance.

My session started the same when i picked New Austin and spawned close to Fort Mercer.
A few steps forward and a few steps back and i got the fort and 5 red sage.
Then on my way to Madam Nazar i got a legendary.
Cat photo was also at Gus’ Saint Denis location.

Overall only my second 7/7 - 9/9 day.
Nice day with no pvp and or fishing needed. Thanks R.*

So far I have 26, counting from Nov.5 of last year, so that's one every 1.73 weeks (45 weeks so far).

Actually a better ratio than I thought!

Some of mine have included pvp stuff like showdowns and races, though no posse stuff.

Well, I FINALLY did them ALL yesterday; for the first time I had all general and

the nine role! Just south of Emerald Station, at the first farmhouse with the garden and the

kind of mean guy on the porch, I always take a picture of the same cat Got the red sage between Tumbleweed

and Fort Mercer (where had to go anyway.) 

 

Looks like that won't happen again Player kills in free roam not my thing, plus I hardly

ever see a free roam event after I get off work at 5:30 Am Central. 'Course I also don't

work Saturday/Sunday night, so I could try to get on in the evening before 1 AM for the free roam event.

 

Otherwise, very doable stuff (already have at least one animal tooth.) I usually see at least one 

"travelers being attacked" event white dot, which counts for the "campsite defended." I did one last night, in fact,

for the heck of it.

 

Farmland samples again and 5 samples in ten minutes, those poor sheep at Emerald ranch

 

Got the Wetlands ones easily yesterday (green iguana), on the same islands west of Rhodes where I got the "Western Toad." 

Even managed to get cuban crab too, for when that "seasoned crustacean" comes up again

Ah, thanks! I probably have only a couple of the general dailies.

If I recall, they were usually including a PVP thing. So glad when they added

the trade nine which I can almost always do.

You can go to: progress>awards>free roam and it gives you a tally of how many days the complete 7 (basic non-role) were done. IIRC.

Went to Thieves Landing - no cats.
I hung around two of the spawns and after 3 minutes one spawned in.

tbh finding a canoe has never been a problem, to me at least...seemingly any time I can run into one at lagras or flat iron lake

Found the teca gator instead of a canoe..... But I don´t understand why the game makes it so hard to find the objective but as soon you find it the game just spawns it everywhere.....?

honestly......jump on a train from a horse..........this is the first time, i dont get the option to jump while riding next to the train....

 

For the boats, Go to st. Denis Port and watch for the small boats driving by. But dont Take a Steam boat, it does Not Count
