Has anyone ever completed the preferred buyer moonshine thing, I'd genuinely like to know because I never have either on PC or PS4. It's just fortunate you can do the other ones now to get your 9/9 for dalies.

It used to work...mostly, but I haven't got it to register for a while.

 I just bypass that one, and the bounty dailies. They are usually problematic.

Yeah Kcole4001 indeed but it is annoying that they are still impossible after all this time.

 

if they don't work for anyone ever Rockstar should stop them from being included on the daily list Surely?

Yeah, I mean this morning when I wanted to sell the Moonshine before logging off for the day, I had no buyers for the flavour that was done and had to wait an hour and a half to sell the damn stuff, as wasn't going to do any bounty ones.. So ended up doing the Moonshiner Story Missions, since that one is also one I don't do since it is not worth the time for 0.50 Gold Bars.

Yep, there's a long list of things they should either fix or remove because they don't work.

I sent a support ticket about fast travel removing carcasses from my horse, got the usual response to verify game files.

2 years of playing his game it should work but it doesn't. I think if you are going to include something on dalily challenge it should work if not all the time at least occassionally. Not at all ever is incorrigible.

 

I know your dalies are randomly generated by an algorithm, but it is really annoying players that they can not do their dalies because of your lazy approach to gaming. I didn't start the fire.

I used to hate the damn Bootlegger Free Roam missions as it would seem every time I was collecting collectibles, they would appear at the shacks I needed to get to for the collectible, so had to clear the damn Poison Moonshine Still ones before I could even start digging or getting the metal detector out or going inside the wardrobe in the shacks etc.

 

It was also annoying as they seem to be much more frequent when I am time limited... and I just want to get that last collectible need to complete a daily!

I get annoyed when the random missions come up right in my way, I always have some kind of a general plan for what I'm doing, and being constantly interrupted feels too much like working a job for an unappreciative boss.

 

They do make for good looting potential, so if looting is one of the dailies at least then there's the potential to complete something at the same time, today especially where both the missions and the looting were dailies.

Then I don't mind them.

Normally I bypass them if I can.

The Bounty one is probably bugged due to the bounty targets sometimes not being named and are simply named Stranger instead is my guess anyway.

Honestly, how much time would it take to have someone manually set the daily list up according to an approved list of working activities.

They're not all busy fixing things, that much is perfectly clear.

And if they are, hire another intern FFS.

 

How many BILLION dollars PROFIT (not overall sales, PROFIT!!!!!) have these games brought in?

I'm sure they can afford it.

The past few days... I have been unable to complete pvp free mode events because the schedule is broken.  I completed one day by playing master archer which is scum level but hey, I avoided it 2 days in row to complete free mode events dailies.  1 step forward 2 steps back. 

 

A bounty bug hit me that I had not seen in months, cannot run in eagle eye.  I ran a 3 star bounty for the daily, it spawned in quakers cover.  The timer started at 4 min on arrival.  Got the bounty, tied him up alive, carried him out, he escapes, shoot him, carry to blackwater, as I am pulling off bounty the timer expires, check lasso and its not reinforced, which I can not even select...f' this game.

Had a weird thing today, after doing a story mission for the daily the game also said I did the skin 20 animals daily, but I hadn't skinned a single animal yet. It popped right after the story mission daily.

Free gold I guess?

There is a Bounty mission from the Tumbleweed Bounty Board that is two bounties at Gaptooth Ridge (by the Gang Hideout, not the one by the GA of Gaptooth Ridge) , buy the time you get there the timer starts a 4 or 5 mins on arrival, so have to bring the bounties down as well as all the NPCs and a damn gun on a Maxim Gun and by the time you've got every one down there is like 90 seconds left, and the Bounty Wagon is too slow to make it back to Tumbleweed.

It failed for me the last time, preferred apple berry/whatever to the preferred guy for

$247.

 

Completed delivery, full bottles, no credit 0/2 still.

 

Then I managed to easily get the 9 anyway:

 

The stupid Legendary or hard bounty one did not work for me today; 

I did it but it only gave me credit for turning in a third bounty guy, but

was still 0/1 for the hard (3 difficulty, but not legendary) bounty,. 

This 3 star was a guy at some camp down in the Lemoyne area, 

with a maxim gun there and stuff. Started shooting up the guys, until 

he runs then easily got him with 5 minutes to spare.

 

By the way, I had NO IDEA that if you got the 9 the REST were TURNED OFF!

That kind of surprised me, getting the nine then I could not finish the other 

pursuit ones (had a "lock" icon on them.) I guess the gold bonus, for the 9,

makes up for not being able to do the other ones????

 

HA! I also had definitely not skinned "20" animals, it was more like 2.

It popped anyway. That is even taking into account that "pocketing" a 

quail/squirrel/bullfrog counts as "skinning."

I LOVED them today

 

I was in a lobby with just one guy, again, which dwindled down to just me. So I kept running into them. So I bumped into

two, which were easy, and they ALSO cleaned out the collector ones (the booze/whatever the guys had counting as collecting.) 

THEN I only did one more at the shack, for that 3 bootlegger daily counting. 

 

I think the revenuer dudes, at the blockades/checkpoints, have a real high chance of having collectible booze on them;

the game wants to paint them as hypocrites

Quite I heartilly agree. Their approach to their customers (who in case they were not informed is always right) goes beyond lazy into downright arsehole. It's quite frankly a Max Payne if you'll pardon the pun.

 

You see because rockstar made Max Payne the game, ah nm if you have to explain it it's neither big nor clefer or fuuny.

Yeah I ironically noted that in order to comeplete that one you'd have to own a jet fighter or helicopter, which is a little before its time. Hilariousely programmed and impossible.

 

it actually takes more time to get to the first one than the laughable 5 minutes some chancer in their programming department gave you let alone complete it. I think either the encoders were drunk that day or having a joke at your expense or both.

Yeah everyone had that I was on PC at the time and remember that feeling of about fricking time, despite not have done anything. I skipped over to  my PS4 and it happened there too I remember thinking well you get the idea.

Posse joining is not session based ie 1 of 30 people it is whole server based if there is a posse and they invite you, you will auto join "their" server. Incidentally you need to join a persistant posse for some reason not just start one yourself unless of course you make it persistent.

 

You can also join persistent posses in game via your user menu press < on the dpad to see a list of posses. Just as a further FYI you need to use the menu also to start posse infighting then kill someone you can't just randomly start your own posse and shoot someone as friendly fire inhibitors apply usually.

Yup usually despite the random nature of challenges they often have twofers where doing one will achieve another, with some work in this case, just selecting them in the satchel and then breaking them down; unsurpringly literal as usual, fish do count as animals, you probably can't mash up a mushroom as they are a seperate kingdom neither technically animal or vegetable but...

I overslept, got tired around 5AM so went to lie down in the hope that I wouldn't fall asleep so quickly and get back up at 6.45AM, but obviously that did not happen, so for the first time in a while I've failed... 

I've been working on a new Daily Challenges website, (well won't be that different than the current one) so it's easier to update instead of the system I currently have in place, so been up later than usual for the past few days, I'm getting too old to stay awake too long nowadays.

I've also been wondering if we should start new Daily Challenges thread, with the first post or so being an information or something, as the list of Daily Challenges in the current first post of this thread is outdated or has some challenges wrong or removed from the game. I have the completed list of challenges from the game files so should be able to keep the first post updated with all the challenges or whatever, or even if they are needed in the first post if they're now being posted every day.

Oh, also just popped into my head, the first couple of posts could be edited with the current day of challenges, so first time members here can see them on page one or something... I don't know just things I think of...

You can baically see a list of every possible challenge with a quick google search.

 

Repeating shotgun appears in any 1 v 1 gunfight mode, anything not requiring a horse basically although some modes have a sawn off shotgun only but that's belabouring the point.

 

As a caveat though showdowns don't always register as completing dailies or free roam events and vise a versa, just a heads up... It's wierdly quirky that way.

 

Incidentally if you are going to visit the top of mount Hagen you want to invest in some cold weather clothes to make it less of a rush up and down before your horses nuts dont just retract into its body but explode, Hariets tonics aint going to help that much. Just a heads up too.

^^ Gold horse cores FTW, but I think I'll just skip the Mt. Hagen daily... not a fan of snow even in games. Ugh.
