Not any more, they patched this issue so you have to do it twice now as intended. The same way they fixed the bounty hunter ones so it now has to be different targets instead of doing the same thing to one target over and over.

I usually just do a quick delivery of what's been produced while I've been on sale mission #1 as soon as I get back to camp, 1 or 2 goods using the small wagon, so it's pretty quick, and you may get to loot some bodies if it's opposed by NPCs.

Simply skip that challenge, it’s not worth it... but I guess the only way to do it properly without grief is in the Salvage Free Roam event when someone gets killed and you can revive them since they won’t be able to attack you afterwards. But I generally don’t do PVP daily challenges, because sometimes the reward is not worth the risk if you run into a greifer, so you end up wasting time you could be putting to better use heh.

Just a heads up that Daily Challenges could be delayed due to the server maintenance, as usually Daily Challenges become unavailable for a while afterwards since the reset happens at the end of the maintenance.

(Regarding having to do good sales twice, while it used to count twice if doing it once)

 

Yeah, noticed this. What I do is the goods sale (when full), then I get back.  So

I'm at 1/2  for goods sale. Then I:

 

Wait a second until I have one good, or so, again.

 

Start a sale again, at Cripps.

 

Blow up wagon with stick of dynamite (seeing the horse and wagon twirling in the air, makes my day... )

 

Throw the one bag on my regular  horse.

 

Do the second goods sale way faster

 

The "attackers" often are on you on the way, while they used to be at the drop off before.

Noticed that while just doing the small one, with just the horse, I see the red line of them behind

me but they never catch up.

 

They also fixed Harriet, so you can't just "charm" your way back into her graces by emoting. 

I tried last night, with her just saying "Get away from me, I don't have time for you!" and stuff, while 

I emoted. So I went ahead and did some more, then tried to sell to her and got maced =/ 

After the 15 minutes, she will again react favorably to your emotes (which is moot, though)

She will say things like, "Aren't you full of energy!"

But I think it's actually better if you continue to post before or after me with my list, I don't see an issue with two posts with the Daily Challenges as some may prefer your image over the mine too...

And if one of us cannot post or whatever, at least we've both got it covered... And also to correct my typos or sleepiness.....

For everyone else I am working on a slightly new Daily Challenge list, where the on https://rdodailies.com you'll be able to right click on the challenge to increase it by 1 and left click decrease it by one, so for multiple challenges like 5 canned foot eaten, if you eat 2 of them you can just right click twice to mark them off, so you know how many more you need to do to complete that challenge...

 

I mean this probably doesn't make sense until it's actually live I guess, but I think it works great, and you can of course tick off the challenge completely instead of using the increasement clicks.

The General Challenges, are they still the same ones as you posted, or have they changed?
Oh just noticed they're the ones from the August 10th, but no worries, I seem to make a mistake once a week, sometimes it's a pain keeping track of all these dailies, especially when they add new ones and I have reorder my databases.

FWIW, last night's "Alaskan Ginseng" was the usual eye-rolling daily; pick the first plant from the garden near Window Rock, and instant "4/5 picked"...

 

Then pick the remaining Ginseng plants, and... nothing. I then moseyed over to the lone Ginseng plant a little ways southeast, picked it, and objective complete!

 

Thank goodness for that last plant.

Too late now, but for future reference, someone mentioned going on-call for a story mission and just following the lowest ranked player around, hoping they get downed. Sounds hit or miss to me, but if you’re desperate...

I got 5/5 in the same location though, sometimes I just reload the session for them to grow back when I don't want to find the others close by, but there is at least one near the Fast Travel post in Wapiti if you are fast traveling their first before heading to Window Rock.

Also, a little couple of tips, try to do the Naturalist Role Challenges first, if you're unable to stop Harriet from drugging you by greeting her, you can sell her the samples required if it's a sell x number of samples, or if you get drugged, you can sell to her shortly afterwards, and any others such as taking samples from other animals... Once I've got those out the way, I no longer have to worry about Naturalist that since the other challenges, mostly even killing for Trader or some of the General Challenges...

You can also get the x number of samples in 10 minutes, just by going to a emerald ranch for easy sedation of animals without the need to chase anything. So other than the don't kill an animal in 24 hours, you can get most of the different types animals required also for in the areas surrounding animal ranch too for the Farmland Animals samples taken, Forest Animal samples taken etc, and Lagras isn't too faraway for the Wetland animal samples taken either. So can can get the those done pretty quickly.

Also, for Trader, if you can kill the sedated sheep or goats at Emerald Ranch after taking the sample (yeah they'll be really port quality) but if you get five stored in the Trader Wagon and one on your Horse, you can complete the 6 large animal carcasses donated to Cripps too, since these still count as large animals when donated from the Trader wagon when this pops up. So that's sometimes 4 done quite quickly.

Most these are these tips much probably already figured out, but thought I'd post it anyway for those wanting to get gold for less than 5 minutes work sometimes. Plus with doing Naturalist Roles first, you don't have to worry about the hunting related challenges afterwards that will just piss Harriet off, even if the animal wanted to die by running under your horse or flying into it's face.

Anyone know the location for redfin? I mean % redfin pickerels,because afaik redfins always hang out with their cousin which is hard to differentiate using eagle eye. My go to location for that fish is ringneck creek,if anyone know another good spot please let me know. Thanks in advance.

It seems you end up catching Chain Pickerel the most when it's a Redfin Pickerel Daily, and vice-versa when it's a Chain Pickerel Daily, and um I usually catch mine near the Blackwater dock / jetty.

 

 

The Hardy Tonic Naturalist Challenge must be the most annoying... It either never registers, or I have to be so damn hot or so damn cold for it to register, and I hate just sitting around in game doing nothing to complete a challenge... the same with the Don't kill an animal in 12, 18 or 24 hours... Since you'll most likely kill a bird or small animal on Horseback, that one is always difficult to do unless you completely stay still or walk everywhere for those in game hours.

I think THIEVES LANDING is okay for redfins aswell, there's chains too but you can see the difference quite well I think, one is larger/broader than the other
