These are all fairly easy to do if I have a lot of time to play, but week nights are pretty hard to squeeze more than a couple of hours in.

 

Thieves Landing is a good place for almost all 'non player enemy' purposes.

It doesn’t even have to be that far, surprisingly. I just did a Bootlegger mission and had it done with my bolt action (unscoped) without even having to break out the Carcano.

Why are the daily so dependent on luck?

 

Spawned in and there was a moonshine event (where you do if the hats fits) and later did a showdown where you need to be last one alive. We where six when it started so that was one easy to!

 

The trampling is easy, just lasso them of the horse. They turn red and just ride over them!

Good point, I never think of that when I need some of these dailies done.

I usually just let a hideout or ambush come along or get mine during a resupply, but it's very good to have an alternate if, for instance, your camp won't show up like mine this week.

Definitely your best bet, but I've had luck with this one using a Springfield during Trade Route, max lock on range counted as long range kills for me.

I use the poor sods for almost all non player enemy challenges. Hat shots, dragging with lasso, stealth kills, trampling, looting stuff off of them. The only one I can’t do there is the Maxim gun one. For all other non player enemy challenges, it’s a ticket to Thieves Landing.

yeah, but you need them to spawn or do a mission for it. Thieves Landing is always there, at your service 24/7.

2 things I've found with bounties.

1. It seems to count the location you drop them off rather than the location of the poster. 

2. I need to alternate dropoffs. If I do 2 in a row to the same jail/wagon the 2nd one doesn't count. If I use a different drop off in the same state then it will count. 

 

Please let us know if these issues have been fixed, I've barely touched Bounty hunter since hitting level 20.

The other nice benefits of Thieves Landing are: some good loot and low risk of getting a wanted level.

 

Also some extra shotgun (and rifle?) ammo in the hull of the docked boat and the enterable cabin.

No risk for a wanted level at all and there is a fence right there to sell looted items from them Del Lobos :D

^^ Actually, I have had wanted levels from Thieves Landing; once in a while, a witness will spawn and start wandering off to alert the police/lawmen, but they're usually quite slow.

 

If you let them get away, lawmen will spawn and show up.

The ones I have a permanent issue are any of the cooking one that say Seasoned, no matter what I cook with it never counts so unless it is specifically saying mint or thyme etc I just don't even bother trying anymore.  I am only on my 4th week streak right now and already hit my target I was aiming for on gold between the dailies and the bounty hunting or missions so I am not so fussed about it.  I have only once managed to get all 7 standard ones and as nice of a small bonus that it its not that appealing to me to try for.  I just get the ones I can without putting too much effort into to get as much gold as I possibly could but I should have enough now for any future updates that would require them.  I def do not bother with any player kill ones or game modes etc lol

I consider myself lucky if I get one(!) gang hideout to spawn in a week's worth of game play (15-20 hours); let alone an extremely rare, random encounter like the dog or treasure hunter, etc.

 

It's been five weeks and six days, and I've had exactly 12 accessible gang hideouts, which means it takes me ~3.4 game play days to find one.

 

SethStar16T's take on this daily: "These are the locations (shows map), watch for white dots, and pray to R* and Jesus."

As soon as I see a daily involving an RNG event like hideouts, escorts, dogs, etc. I just make a mental note to not bother attempting all dailies, I just do an easy one and then play a different game.

All I did in the end, since I didn't have time to ride to Thieves Landing, was ride to the outskirts of St. Denis and pot a couple of peasants, then when the law came after me I got my quota using the scoped Carcano then rode away.

Pretty easy, and it adds to my wanted time for that achievement.

So I take it that when you have completed the 28 day streak you keep it until you miss a day and it doesn't just reset on you like I was expecting it to.

 

Currently on day 29 and still getting 0.5 gold per daily or is it just because I have not restarted since the daily change?
