Not feeling the role dailies today.

Against my better judgement I went into showdowns and got my 10 kills... It still sucks.

Really sad that dynamite fishing doesn't count with the dailies, have to use my damned rod, so... Barbaric!

 

Well, 8/28, so fingers crossed that the streak bug really is fixed now.

 

[EDIT] Went on a collecting spree and got a every single collection done except heirlooms, which I will do tomorrow so I have 1 of each done.

I did 2 role dailies while gathering everything and holy sh*t I got a lot of money from all those items.

Bought 2 stable slots, 3 horses(Got my achievement for having 5 horses at once), got a bounty hunters wagon, deluxe camp fire, a rolling block rifle, upgraded all my equipped guns to match my outfit and horse, bought bolas and I still have money to spare.

 

So I am finally equipped to be able to do every daily no matter what pops up in the list.

Arn, would be proud.

I wouldn't trust the role dailies, I've completed a few them then logged off for a bit and when I got back on the same day, one of the completed ones had gone. I've also noticed part completed ones reset between sessions.

That one didn't register last time either, the one at fort mercer registers.

Rathskeller Fork, on top of one of the entrance/exit to the farm.  You'll also get a vulture or two as well

 Prairie chickens. For the love of all things furry, WTF are the prairie chickens? I've been searching the Great Plains for FORTY FIVE minutes, even bagged a hawk.    Any other day, it's like I'm tripping over them there.

It spawns on a fallen tree overhanging the path.

Praire Chickens are common west of blackwater and south of oil fields in heartland. Try to change sessions if they're not spawning.

They are nowhere to be found west of Blackwater. three sessions, & well almost two f***ing hours searching for the last basic daily. R* broke something & they don't wanna admit it.

there's a couple that spawn between the "N" & "E" in NEw hanover on the map during daytime.

This is the second time I get the bounty challenge for taking down targets with the bolas and they never register.

You have to tackle the target while holding the bolas..., don't ask why that is, just make it so.

 

What's the best melee ability card set up? Are there any axe murderers here with a learned opinion?

For the melee dailies I use the one that lets you take less damage while armed with a melee weapon, the one that lets you take less damage while sprinting, and then a stamina card like Iron Lungs. For Dead Eye it’s Slippery Bastard obviously (and appropriately).

Takeovers never seem to count for me, but the Shootouts always do. Might be Showdown challenge specific though.

Role daily challenges even reset when completed... Had the "3 Lost Jewelry Found" completed, got disconnected hours later and it's unchecked again. So did the 3 Tarot Card one and I went back from 5/12 to 3/12. At least I got the gold reward for it, so I can basically do it twice if I wanted to. Weird sh*t, this game these days.

These role dailies stop counting/resetting bug is super annoying!

Especially for Bounty, as I'm still leveling it up! 16.... aiming to hit 18 tomorrow and 20 on Sunday. That way I'm not grinding after work anymore. I want that eyepatch! Stupid 20 requirement....
