Yep. On that daily I finally got one to spawn late in the night. And had 12 other players all hop on the train. Crazy part was nobody shot anyone, they were just happy to get the daily done.

I don't have issues with the challenges for finding animals or fish in particular wheter I do them first or last. The only thing blowing my 7/7 most days are posse challenges.

I enjoy the posse ones because it kindve requires some thought to get 2 people near each other, so you can get 2 of them in an infighting.  I would prefer hunt the leader, but its been bugged for a while now.  I do not like when they have posse challenges multiple days in a row or ride in boat/wagon because then you actually have to message people...but most will do it if just ask.

2/7 gave NPC a bird, gave my guy a stubble then removed it, then f*cked off.

 

The Bass is doable, but nothing else is. Trampling is doable too but.... too time consuming. Too depressed

Logged in at Blackwater, knocked out two items with a wave-n-shave, got an On the Hunt mission from Sean in the swamp around Thieves Landing, found a nice spawn of smallmouths after I bagged the croc and managed to fish up a full stack, brought the gator skin to Landing and then trampled 5 semi-innocent men to death  

 

Pretty good day and I even managed to bag 3 of the pickerel alongside all the bass. Might get the other two later, but I'm happy enough as is.

I think is just coincidence, just bad luck. If this were real it would affect all players, but me and other friend (playing in a different session) got all fishes almost in the first try.

Spawned next to Braithwaite Manor, lake side. Waved at a guard, walked to the lake and caught the necessary fishes fairly fast. Was lucky enough to get only 2 Chain Pickerels when catching the 5 redfin pickerels.

The reason the train is often MIA when the challenge is up is because people are also doing the same as you, usually no one touches the train in a session meaning it's easy to find. People doing challenges with the train will get on it and ride it to the middle of no where and change session.

 

Plants, fish and animal spawns aren't touched in any shape or form.

I got on a train a few days ago and decided to map a timetable, made it through one stop before someone shot the driver. Might try again on Turesday whilst waiting for patch, will see how I'm doing after my last 12 hour nightshift.

Finally got 5 redfins at Clemens Point. These apparently swim very close to the shoreline, it's key to not throw the bait too far into the water. Worked nice, took me less than 10 minutes doing that.

For smaller fish I highly recommend using eagle eye and finding them before you cast and then cast near them. You aint gonna have any luck if you're blind casting hoping for the best.

Exactly. Also just reel a tiny bit, not constantly... wait for them to turn their attention to bait, then flick, mofos hook in no time. 

 

I know fishing can be boring to some but it really isn't that hard.

Quakers Cove is also great place to get the redfins, just stand in the middle of the dock to get them. Got my 5 in adequate time, lol.

This doesnt just happen with everything listed besides plants which spawn in the same spots and all you have to do is find a new session...it happens mainly with hideouts, rescues, ambushes, and camp defends...which spawn all day long when not on the list.  Today was so bad with those red fins...had to complain.  Very well may be placebo or bad luck, but when it happens its annoying.

The fish challenges are great as you end up catching other fish aswell, i went for the pickerel at Quaker's cove and ended up getting 6 steelhead aswell (with bread bait!).

 

I went for the largemouth at the upper montana river and got 5 smallmouth along with the 3 largemouth, it's easy money, gold and xp, i don't know why people complain about it.

Could be worse, I've just finished a 12 hour night shift and now have to wait over an hour and a half for a train as 1 train per hour is too difficult for Northern Rail today.

A hawk spawns perched on a fallen tree overhanging the path. It spawns regularly enough that I can usually get one on my way to Adler Ranch and another on my way back.

 

Have your Varmint Rifle ready though, once it gets airborne it can get too high to shoot quickly.
