Today has probably the hardest challenges I've seen in a long time. Bad RNG, trains that don't spawn, uncommon herbs and bugged lobbies.

 

First I loaded into a race lobby, timer was stuck and people couldn't press ready - it was greyed out. So I left.

 

Loaded up showdowns afterwards and got my throwing weapons kills fairly easy with the tomahawk and ended up getting almost 30 kills that match. Not so bad.

 

After that was over. I tried to look for the rescues. Found a stranger and saw the props spawning as I was approaching, but he got killed instantly by the enemies as I arrived. Just my luck. 

 

Waited for Jimmy by the river and he gave me the quest to save his wife.

 

 

Couldn't find a train so I just loaded up the Kerosene mission and got it there by not following Samson.

 

 

Tried to load up a race one more time and this time the lobby worked...        until everyone was frozen at the start. Great.  

 

Restarted the game and finally managed to get a race working. 

Ended up getting 1st place for a 7/7 day with sh*tty RNG and races that don't want to work.

Took me about a minute & a half to find the first four. Then TWENTY more to find the last one . . . .

dude, try near Cumberland falls, the black dude with a wagon asking you to safe the black lady at diablo ridge, right across the Dakota river. must have saved her 15 + times, getting that rescue SO often. just go to diablo ridge you don't even need the black stranger to start the rescue.

975 xp and 4.4 gold bars for blindly chucking a few sticks of dynamite into a bad spawn system

 

makes up for the 7 kills that didn't count in the 3 previous showdowns i suppose..

hey, I am found in those failces and sh*tdowns...just a round or two for the challenges though...all for the gold. nothing toxic about me, once I completed the daily I even stick around for others to kill  me as requested.

Suit yourself. Me, I'm good with being finicky regarding daily challenges. And tomorrow I should rank up to 180 and get a treasure map.

If someone else talks to the dude at his wagon, you can shoot all you want, but the lady will not follow you. She will follow the one who talked to the dude. I've thanked a few players shooting mobs and cutting the lady free a few times already, after she jumped on my horse for a ride to Valentine.

So how exactly does this work if you make it past 21 days. 

The payout says X amount of gold plus a treasure map.

 

Does this does this mean that after you reach that time frame you received gold plus a treasure map for for each day that all 7 are complete?

Once you reach the treasure map, I think one, minimum, a day x 28 straight days. There's no extra award for doing past it but you keep your streak going for progress awards plus it you will continue to get 200xp +0.5 gold bars per challenge vs the 140?xp. I'm at 85 straight days, can't remember how much xp and gold I got before the streak. So no you don't get anymore then the 1 treasure map.

You only get one treasure map for completing the challenges one day in a row. I was referring to the treasure map you get every five ranks, as I expect to reach rank 180 tomorrow.

You need to do at least one Daily challenge per day for 28 days straight.

The Map is only paid out once per streak, so if you maintain your streak to 56 days there is no 2nd map.

If You do 28 days and break the streak and do 28 days again you'll get another map.

Idk if you get a treasure a map any time you start&complete a 28 day streak or only the first time you complete a streak, but even in the case of a map per streak, it's not worth it. You better keep your streak going on for as long as you can, you'll get much more gold that way.

Is the 28 days streak map a particularly good one or is it your regular 70-150cash and however much gold they usually give?
