The ambush/rescue/hideout ones are the absolute worst - having a daily objective completion possibility be decided completely by RNG is not good game design.

 

Although the posse ones that never work are pretty bad too; at least those are down to just bad coding (bugs) rather than bad design though. Eventually Rockstar will hopefully fix the posse challenges.

//edit: done! To everyone trying to do this with other people, make sure you do it in posse with friendly fire on. Just standing close to each other and shooting in the leg won't let you revive.

Yes I messaged a random player near me, he joined my posse and we happily shot each other in the leg with varmit rifles, worked a charm.

4 for me today.

I was so tired after work that I fell asleep on the coach and didn't play until now(Still super tired).

Good news is my phone internet fix continues to work flawlessly and I can stay connected until I don't want to play anymore, I got my 15 different fish challange and I got rank 10 Hunting challenge of killing 2 animals with an explosion.

Bad news is I no longer have to fish with dynamite, because the challenge has been finished. Kind of sad about that, it is a lot of fun. Guess I just have to save the dynamite for griefers now.

Griefer fishing will become a thing I guess =P

Shooting each other in the foot with the varmint rifle didn’t work for me. Kept killin the other guy. The horse kicking method worked great though. It’s too funny! You wind up to pimp slap the horse! My wife would kill me if she saw me do that lol!

Thanks to the bullhead catfish daily I finally got the award catching all 15 fish.

I hope the update allows us to choose fishmonger as a path because I went through about four thousand fish before getting all the bullheads. Sheesh.

Shooting each other works when you both are on the same crew posse.

Much easier way to do this would be to just have the other member not be in your Posse and stand next to you.

Then start a fight with Lawman in Valentine.

 

Don't take it to a too high of a level you only want to have one or two of them chasing you let him shoot you until you hit the ground and have the other players stand right near you and as soon as you drop he revives you.

 

If they're really quick about it as soon as they revive you the lawmen will more than likely shoot you down a second time and they can get two in a row. Sometimes three.

 

The reason you don't want them in your Posse is so that way the Lawman don't attack them in the process simply because they're in your Posse. This way you're the only one that the law is targeting.

 

I helped about 40 players today get theirs. I would see the players coming into the train station and I'd ask them do you need help getting your daily.

 

...and it doesn't take but a few minutes for each, and didn't appear to raise the hostility level.

 

The sad part is, even in spite of the fact that I was trying to be helpful to everyone who came into the train station the vast majority of players started s*** with me.

 

A great portion of the RDRO community are truly sad human beings.

Came out of a showdown and started up my posse and got infighting to immediately work lol. 7/7 came easy tonight.

Easy day save for Infighting... though with 4 gold on the line, maybe people will be more willing to help.
